“Little Bros. I've been coming to Little Bros for the better part of my (almost) 5 year stint in Michigan so far, and it's really becoming a staple of the complete night out in Royal Oak for my group of friends. For those who haven't seen the storefront, I'll give you a little preview: It's a small building with classic styling themes and a straightforward menu. Calling out the small factor now because that's probably one of the only gripes that people will have about Little Bros: it gets cramped inside whenever it's busy. Inside the restaurant, the seating area is an L-shaped Bar, with less than 10 seats (approx.) altogether. When it's busy -- AKA the end of the night -- you'll find that it's standing room only as people are waiting for their food. Usually it's not the end of the world as food arrives quite quickly and people who are standing cycle in and out quickly. Onto the food and drinks! The menu is laid out on the wall breaking down the standard fare and it's what you'd expect: burgers, sliders, chicken strips, etc. As mentioned before, the food comes out quickly, but everything happens pretty quickly at the restaurant. It's no Michelin Star restaurant, but taste is solid and won't leave you with any complaints. With the shuffle of folks in and out and limited space inside, efficiency is the name of the game at peak times. If you're still trying to figure out what to get, step to the side and let the regulars order first (it helps everyone, I promise). Saving the best for last -- the folks who operate the restaurant. Seriously everyone at Little Bros is cool and kind to customers. My friends who frequent Royal Oak tend to go every week and have developed a great connection with the staff, it's awesome to see it. Go support a local business and try out Little Bros!”

“My ice cream cone was perfect. The shop was clean and very comfortable. Great setting.”

“Excellent place! The service is quick, but the wait can be a bit anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes, and they only take reservations for larger groups (12+). Nonetheless the wait was worth it. Two tacos is usually plenty filling with a small side of rice. The tacos are very creative and full of flavor, an exciting departure from many other local Mexican restaurants. The margaritas are highly recommend and a good value for what you get. Will definitely be going back!”

“The food is wonderful. The staff is friendly. There was a period there where they got a bit above themselves with over the top prices for half portions, but they seem to have gotten past that. My wife and I used to go quite often until then. Now that we see they've calmed down a bit we will be going back again soon. Strongly recommend.”

“I love what they did with the place. But the one of the guys that manages there was literally always asking if we wanted something. After $10.60 for 2 Red Bulls I immediately stopped.”

“Spacious inside and out. Very friendly staff. Good food.... BEST spinach artichoke dip I've ever had!!! Drinks are kind of small though, but otherwise a great hang out spot.”

“We found this place during Arts, Beats and Eats and ordered the NY Style chicken platter and loved it. The staff has always been accommodating and super friendly. I don’t live close so I usually order additional NY style chicken platters for next days lunches but request everything including the sauces to be packaged individually and they always take care of me. I highly recommend giving them a try.”

“Amazing. My fiance and I both eat meat but appreciate a well done vegetarian/vegan meal. They have something for everyone and we cannot wait to try their desserts. There is an awesome selection of beer AND bourbon/whiskey. Definitely check them out!”

“Owners are great and hang around the bar. Humble and down to earth. Great improvement of the menu over the past year. Best place for live music. My go to spot to take dates.”

“I was skeptical bc this place is always empty. I got a carry out and oh my God it was the spicy shrimp and chicken with vegetables so amazing!! Just enough spice and the chicken was soft. Shrimp could be bigger but there was enough. I also got an Alaska roll which was fresh and yummy. Definitely coming back.”

“So this restaurant features a buffet style food bar that allows you to make your own dish. However, any option you choose will not allow you to take food home so be aware. Staff is friendly and the chefs do a great job of entertaining and cooking a variety of dishes for numerous customers.”

“One of my favorite restaurants. The selection of alternative healthy dishes are my go to. Service is good and food is fast. It's a laid back atmosphere, so I like dine in every now and then.”

“I wish I had not eaten everything, but I got into the food and I forgot to photograph it. So here is the aftermath of the delicious eatery known as Joe's grill. The great thing about Joe's grill is that it's connected to Hookah Joe's and they do allow food in at least from there, even though Hookah Joe's even though has a sign that says, "no outside food or beverages". They weren't chintzy on the sides, and the food was fresh, so I highly recommend this eatery. But...very bright and very few seats. Eat to go or take your food next door. -WL Bush”

“This is the third BBW at which I've eaten recently. Several weeks prior, the three of us ate at the one in Troy. My son and I, being creatures of habit, ordered the same dishes as last time: he had chicken wings (jerk, I think), and I had a chicken Caesar salad. My husband ordered a different salad with gorgeous greens (arugula) and grilled chicken. My son was served a very generous portion of wings; he took half his dinner home. My husband loved his salad. I took one look at his salad and knew I should have ordered what he ordered. My salad was... interesting. The grilled chicken was freshly grilled, and tasty. The garlic toast was sublime. The croutons were crunchy and full of flavor. The romaine tasted like three-day old grass clippings. By the end of the meal, the croutons had taken on the same flavor. However, service was impeccable. Our server offered to refill our beverages in a timely fashion - we never had to ask. The televisions were on, and they were much louder than the Troy location, so it was a little harder to hold a conversation.”

“The food was great couldn't have asked for better. The restaurant was new so everything was very clean. The only downside was the price. I paid over $50 for 2 pops, 3 burgers, and 1 side. Yikes! I know, right! However, you are going to a destination restaurant so definitely remember that when budgeting for dinner.”

“I freaking love this place. I must come here like at least 5 times a week. Food is very fresh and can be very healthy if you order correctly. I've actually managed to lose 10 pounds by eating here often. Bowls are great and very flavorful. The chicken and rice soup is delicious. The bread is one of the best things in the world. Try the bbq chicken and pork flat bread. It's honestly better than some pizza places I've been to.”

“It’s always a good sign when the person taking your order speaks better Chinese than they do English. Love this place! Most authentic Chinese cuisine in the area! Nothing beats bringing home a big order of Harvest Garden, pounding it, then passing out for 3 hours in bed.”

“Best Thai food around! Tiny, little spot, as most of the great Thai restaurants are. I ordered take out online, got there 10 minutes early for pickup and my food was just being boxed up. Ordered Drunken Noodles and they were delicious. Buyer beware! They offer varying spice levels, I like it hot any typically find the hot spice level as merely good and warm, not here! Hot is holy hot! Whew! Get ready to sweat it out. Nicely done guys! They are now my goto Thai spot.”

“I don't come to Mesa often, but I usually enjoy it when I do. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Had the black.bean and hummus tacos today, very good. (I've really got to learn how to eat a soft taco neatly, but that's my problem, not theirs) Always plenty of chips and salsa. Sat outside this time, watched the people go by. It made for a pleasant lunch hour.”

“They had a decent amount of vegan options. We ended up getting a wrap. Tip: add falafel! It was light, filling and pretty good! We also decided to heat it up a bit which was really nice. Customer service was great also.”

“Concept was great, pleasant environment, food was awesome. I order a Aloe vera drink and didn't like it. The Chief allowed us to keep it because my Boyfriend likes the drink and gave me a cup so I could get a fountain drink. I thought that was so kind and sweet. I went 8/20/19 around 7:30pm Great Service”

“Amazing food! Best sliders which feature a brioche bun, pickles, grilled onions and a special sauce! Melt in your mouth! Steak tips with mushrooms and zip sauce are excellent! Top it off with unbelievable service. The owner Elliott was so hospitable and friendly. If you are lucky enough to stop in here sit at the bar, order a drink, grab a bite and have some great conversation. Did I even mention the best cigar selection around?! One of Royal Oaks hidden gems!”

“Great traditional subs. The prices seem high compared to something like a Subways, until you realize that a 12 inch weighs about 3 pounds and is probably going to be lunch for 3 days. May currently have the best French fries in downtown Royal Oak (but RO is seriously French fry challenged)”
