“We went on a Friday night. It was busy but we got a table right away. We weren't drinking so we had the waters, they seem to be following the no straw thing, which is alright. We both ordered pizzas. I got the South Pacific pizza with chicken added (recommended by the waiter) and my wife got the cheese pizza. The candid pineapples on the pizza were amazing, the chicken was so so. Over the pizza was pretty good. Huge portions, these personal pizzas were pretty massive. We could only eat half. My wife wasn't a huge fan of the crust and sauce. The cheese pizza didn't look too great, it tasted alright. Overall, it was meh. We for sure wouldn't order take out from them, which to us is a good measuring stick for how good they were.”

“Their Pizza pies are consistently delicious. Prices are set very fairly. I've never had more than a 20-minute wait. The secret is in the sauce. Their sauce is very good. They use real pepperoni, the kind that form little cups after being baked. They have a huge menu selection that I should probably take better advantage of but I know exactly what I am looking for and they produce it every time.”

“Located in downtown Royal Oak, the location is definitely great, and they have a nice little patio area to eat at outside, with Vinyl Album jackets used to hold the menus (kind of neat concept). They have karaoke, as well as live bands come in to perform, which is also kind of cool (there was only karaoke when I went). Was not particularly impressed with the food (had the chicken quesadilla), or the prices for it. Pretty standard drink options as well. While certainly not a bad option on a summer day if you're looking for a beer and a bite, there are definitely other options in that area.”

“In the two years that I've been here in SE Michigan, I've hit most of the reputable BBQ spots, and overall, Lockhart's is the tastiest. (Yes, it's better than Slows.) Some are a better value, and some have better individual dishes or individual meats, but this place is consistently good on the whole. Best dish I've had so far is the Mac-n-Cheese Shepherd's Pie. Wait time and service are small issues, so don't go on a Friday night and expect to be seated in less than 10 minutes. Still, worth the wait. UPDATE (July 2019): Recently visited again...food quality has dipped.”

“I really enjoyed the food here. Drinks were great as well. The atmosphere was very cool and supported average sized groups well. Could get a little loud with the peak capacity, but we weren't looking for a quiet dinner for twelve! Very friendly staff, and a lot of energy. Bathrooms were clean, restaurant was well put together and flowed well. We had a party of ten and they kept up well with our drink and food orders.”

“7 years ago somebody suggested that I try “Young’s Chinese Food.” This person told me that Young’s always goes above and beyond when it comes to the food, customer service, and getting to know every customer’s preference. Today, I decided to try out Young’s Chinese Food for the first time. I ordered the Sesame Chicken. All I have to say is “WOW!” The food here is delicious, the owner is super nice, everybody else is super nice, and very funny. I would recommend dining here.”

“The bathrooms were immaculately clean, which I really like about a place. The soup was delicious, though my wife's was a little on the cold side. She really enjoyed her low carb wrap. I devoured my gyro it was so good. I probably could have eaten three of them! I would recommend this place for a nice quiet and quick meal. The staff were very friendly. The place does show it's age, yet is still oddly charming in looking like it is currently 1984. Additionally, the parking lot can be tricky to get out of because people are driving very fast so do be careful. There's a light just to the West of the lot which, if you have to wait for it to change can make a difference.”
