On January 2nd, 2021 I came to Arlene's for a carryout breakfast. I had the Country Skillet and my wife the Ham & Cheese omelet. The food was delicious; you could tell it was cooked from scratch, it was prepared quickly and the owner was very friendly. Most importantly, it wasn't greasy at all (as some breakfasts at a restaurant can be). There was so much we couldn't finish; the perfect meal to start our day. This is another place for food when we are in the Gaylord area.

First time here. Nice atmosphere, good service. Food was okay. I ordered eggs over medium and they were over hard, I love crispy bacon but this was practically burned. My husband loved his omelette and pancakes though.

One of the best place I've eaten at. Everything we had was cooked to perfection. The cinnamon bread french toast was out of this world. The service was great, fast ,and friendly. This is a top notch mom and pop's place, if you pass this place up you missed out on a great meal, breakfast, lunch or dinner. Thank you Arlene's for a great meal.????????

Cute, cozy little place. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food isn't overpriced and very tasty! Everyone at the table enjoyed their breakfast!
I ordered the country skillet and it was phenomenal. If you like sausage gravy you'll love this one, it's housemade daily.

Family favorite spot for both locals and visitors. Has the usual rush from Church goers on Sundays.

Recent remodeling gives a fresh "Cabin getaway" vibe and the food still hits different in the morning.

Only critique I can make is that the salsa isn't homemade, but this is Northern Michigan, so I can't expect much Hispanic authenticity. ?
