I've been dying to try the new BBQ place in town, so tonight I finally stopped in and picked up some brisket mac & cheese to take home. It was SO GOOD! I can't wait to go back and try more, especially the burnt ends.
NOTES:
It's a small building, so they're more focused toward take-out over dine-in. If you're not sure about something, I'd just ask. I'd ordered a brisket meal, so he had me try some first. It convinced me that I made a good choice.
By far the best BBQ! Don’t forget the sides! The beans, potato salad, coleslaw, all of them are homemade and so yummy.
Jake makes the best soups. It’s more like a stew with so much meat.
This crew does it right!
If you like flavorful, meaty fall off the bone ribs. Better get an extra rack. I like the red sauce. But do try both.
Awesome job Jake and Jill!!!!
Hey yall, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Had the sampler (1 meat and 1 sausage) with a side (coleslaw) and it was AMAZING. Possibly the best jalapeño sausage in the state! Currently only 2 tables with 4 chairs each for those that eat in. Small restaurant, big/great flavor. Thanks for the great meal, I'll be back!
My husband and I stopped in on October 29 wanting to try the ribs which they were out of so I had the pulled pork and the hubby had the Jalapeño cheddar sausage both were awesome we noticed while we were there that they had a Halloween special. So we pre-ordered got a full slab of ribs 4 slices cornbread mac & cheese and their coleslaw. EVERYTHING Was fantastic couldn’t believe the flavors they far Surpass any other restaurant in town that offers barbecue!!! The place was immaculate both times and Jake and Jill are extremely personable!!
I LOVE their food. The experience starts as you pull into their parking lot. The building is beautiful and as you open their door, a cowbell rattles. The aroma hits your nose and you take a deep breath, savoring the blends of protein, sauce, and spices. There are 2 cute tables to dine at or sit to wait for your food. Jill is an absolute delight to chat with as you decide what sounds good to order and you can even sneak a look into their production line. The service was amazing and the food even better. The brisket is tender, the pork flavorful, and the coleslaw. Oh my god, that coleslaw. I’m not normally a fan of this specific dish but wow. This one was sweet and tangy and crunchy and creamy. Everything I could possibly want. 15/10 HIGHLY recommend.
