Porto Bello

Olivia, our waiter, was SO sweet and attentive. She had a constant smile, was able to joke with us, and was knowledgeable of the menu. The food here was delicious; I got the fettuccine alfredo for the same price as Olive Garden, but it was much better, with about twice the sauce. The value and quality of the food, as well as the quiet atmosphere and great service together made this a great experience for my friends and I. :)

Great food, great friendly service in beautiful down town historic Grand Haven, located in an old piano factory with other eateries. This establishment is a sole proprietorship and I must go to. Great views, great spaces, live music. Then enjoy an awesome stroll downtown with a light show at dusk over the water and sand dunes. Plenty of places to shop, grab killer chocolates and other baked item goods, a peanut roasting store that's been in existence I believe since 1907...and when all is said and done for the evening don't miss Tip a Few, established in 1976..... One can stay overnight down town or accross from lake Michigan beach.

Casual Italian restaurant located right downtown Grand Haven. Offers a good menu of burgers, pasta, and meat dinner options. Prices are a bit on the higher end with burgers around $14 and pasta or meat dishes around $18. Portion size run large and bread is included with the meal. Food is good but some of the cream pasta dishes are a bit rich for my taste.

There have been very few restaurants that me and my boyfriend have been to that have left us impressed with no complaints. This is one of them. The atmosphere was romantic and nice, live music was excellent and a nice touch. No complaints on the service...the food and drinks were delicious. 100% would come back. (Their house spicy vodka sauce is great!)
