(May 26, 2019, 7:22 pm)Every visit to The Kirby House has been pleasant other than my recent visit. I ordered the Stone Fruit & Kale Salad and was not informed apples would be substituted for the peaches. When I received my salad and asked about it, the waitress said the cooks substituted because peaches were not in season. I wish I would have been informed prior to receiving the salad. Nonetheless, the service and food was good.

(May 18, 2019, 12:51 am)Excellent food and service. Part of the Gilmore restaurant collection from Grand Rapids. Great location, great views, right down town Grand Haven....a must when in town. Also tons of great shopping and other great restaurants, and killer beach scene with constant activities on the beach and in town. We came for a stay at a hotel on the beach for the kite festival and easily biked into town for several nights over the weekend, as we have in the past. Grand Haven is a true Michigan gem.
