“Zone 18 bar and grill is the best on taco-tuesday. Soft tacos, hard tacos and deep fried tacos. Along with their taco bowl. The owner Debbie is the best host you can find in all of Houghton lake area. We each had the deep fried taco and the taco bowl with 2 draft beers and a soda for under $20 including the $5 tip. Great Atmosphere and really nice people who are the area locals.”

“What an interesting place. The live music being played was great. The guitarist looked like a plump Bob Ross so that was fun. Though the music was good it was being played over enough speakers for an outdoor concert venue, rendering only the furthest seats in the place even reasonable to sit in. The food was great. Awesome burger and the cheese sticks, aptly named cheese logs, are great and truly enormous. You won't leave here hungry and you'll have the experience of screaming your order to the waitress before a fun back and forth of WHAT?!”

It was so nice to have a stress free experience with our first grad party. Having use of the gym was also a plus for the kids and some adults! We had many guests comment on how nice the facility is. We played late in the season so the course maintenance was not at its best - aerated greens, uneven bunker sand, mowing debris, and other factors impacting play but if those things are not the norm at this course it's a real gem. It's not walkable - too many long green to tee distances.”

“Great value, fresh food, and a nice and roomy dining area, which was also regularly cleaned. They offer a buffet for dine-in customers and in October 2019 the cost was $9 per person, all you can eat, and included a drink (with refills). Kids were $5 The buffet includes all the main items on their menu (chicken, mashed potatoes, biscuits, mac-n-cheese, etc.) Plus multiple sides and two different deserts, cherry cobbler and bread pudding. Didn't see strips or popcorn chicken on the buffet, at least when we were there. Highly recommended.”
