“A very nice place to visit. Up on the water. In the summer there is a french fry truck with lots of goodies. And the Vault Ice Cream truck with a nice selection of ice cream to choose from. Inside the Maritime Center is a nice restaurant, that has good food. There is also loads of information about the Great Lakes Freighters that go down the river.”

“We have ordered pizza, breadsticks and salads on several occasions from large groups to my individual family. Every time the food has been excellent! The staff is always polite and helpful. At my last visit I had mentioned to the young lady who took my order that I was getting the food for a lunch in the park with my family. She remembered I had said that when I picked up the order and gave me plates, forks and napkins to make sure we had a pleasant experience enjoying our food. I was thoroughly impressed! If management reads these comments, please reward your employees for their hard work in striving to please the customer. “Flavor...fresh ingredients...perfect ovens provide the best crust on this pizza. A visitor asked me what places downtown had the best food. I answered " it depends what you like and are hungry for". Pompeiis has the perfect pizza and today we had the meatball appetizer....( awesome!!!). The sauce was delicious. Not overpowering and complimented the meat mixture. We had cheese put on it and baked. The mozzarella cheese was soft and flavorful...not like the tasteless kind we are familiar with.”

“So good! I sat outside on the patio with my mom and the weather was just perfect. The patio is great because its partly covered and you can sit in the shade. Wasn't too crowded but it did start getting busy around 6pm. I had the crab and shrimp dip which was perfect. I also had the perch with some fried cauliflower. Was so good we took a dessert home too! The brownie cookie sundae was great but next time I'd like to try the cinnamon bread pudding. I certainly will be coming back. Really decent prices, even for the seafood! “We used these guys for our wedding rehearsal dinner. It was really good. We go to dinner sometimes here and the food is good. But if you're expecting just a quick bite, this place isn't for you. The staff never seems to know what's going on or who's working what tables. And there's always a new server working. But they are really nice and the food is worth it.”
