“Would not go there again. Food was served cold, couldn't find waitress to have it nuked. Rice was either old or not cooked. Soup ok but not great. Enchilada shells were hard, like they had been sitting around for awhile, not enough sauce on them either. Ordered fried ice cream for dessert and it was melted and basically just a bowl of mush. Very disappointing experience in view of the fact that we came there based on your ratings. The thing is too, is that it was not busy when we were there so there was no excuse for the food being cold. Not impressed with portions either, nothing like what is shown on the website, very small compared to your pictures. A waste of $68.00.”

“Food was really good. We like spicy, so the Spicy Shrimp was not as hot as expected. Love Thai, but it wasn't Thai spicy. My wife had Cajun Chicken Tortellini, but the Cajun was non-existent. Could have had more spice. Service was excellent. Dessert was very good as well. Raspberry cheesecake and Key lime pie. Menu selections were plentiful, had a hard time deciding what to have. Will definitely be back.”

“Had a great breakfast this morning. Service was great, super-fast; I think we had our food in less than 10 minutes after sitting down. They have a good variety of omelets with fresh ingredients and melty cheese...yum! It's a cozy old-fashioned diner that makes their customers feel like family. We even saw one of the waitresses walk a customer with an ambulatory issue out to his car so she could help carry his to-go coffee. Great place!”

“Stopped for an after-dinner cocktail on a warm night. Great atmosphere, friendly service. Cool space with open-air seating in the front window. Seems like a place you would go when you are not in a hurry and are just in the mood for a slow, quiet evening. Menu was mostly appetizers with a small pizza menu. We didn't realize they didn't take credit cards until after we ordered, so keep that in mind.”

It should be a good balance of smoke to heat and they probably threw an extra tablespoon of spice in. I thoroughly enjoy places like this, the very intricate details throughout the establishment will keep you occupied as you notice all the little thoughtful little touches. The food was delicious, I tried the El Dorado Chicken salad and it was very satisfying and large enough to where I failed to finish it all. “My husband and I had a large supreme last night and it was SOOOOO Good that we ordered another one tonight. The people at the 24th Street Happy's are some of the nicest people ever. Frank sure knows how to hire the good ones. He is also an awesome manager too. He has done so much for this community. He is a huge sponsor of the March of Dimes and so is the one down in Harrison Twp. in Michigan also. They made 60 pizzas for the March of Dimes annual walk and give them to us at a huge discount. So when you go into the one in Port Huron just ask for Famous Frank. He'll know who sent you. So starting from the ones that answer the phone to the cooks to the delivery person they are the best. They also have the BEST fish and chips too.”
