Doña Celia Mexican Food

Do not underestimate this restaurant. If you want to try something different then your regular rice and beans and tacos or food from Michuacan. Then try Doña Celias with a twist of the North of Mexico sazón. We had the quesa birrias made with lamb. The lamb was well seasoned and their broth to die for.

Stopped in for the first time after church today. Greeted right away by the owner and brought a bowl of chips with his homemade Avocado sauce (magnificent!). My wife got a couple campechano tacos and ib got a carnita taco and a carne asada gordita. Everything was amazing. The steak had such a wonderful flavor. Will definitely be back.

If you like real good Mexican food you're gonna love this place. I have eaten here only once (so far), but I plan on returning very soon. The food was perfect. The people were very helpful and polite. The service was fast. We ordered 2 tortas, 1 Carne asada and 1 al pastor and split them.They were both very good, actually probably the best torta I've ever had. My only sorta complaint was that I would like a little more meat but honestly it was amazing and I'm just being picky. THE GREEN SAUCE I'd put that on anything it was so good.

What an amazing place! My husband has the gorditas and I had a quesadilla. You absolutely must try the avocado sauce even if you don't like avocados. It was so good!! The owners were so warm and friendly. We might have found our new favorite.

Well worth the 3 mile deviation off the highway if you're passing through or live close by. Food was delicious, authentic Mexican. Everything was fresh. Homemade sauces were incredible (hot sauce and avocado sauce). Such nice owners. **cash only** (new restaurant and in process of getting card reader). Support local business!
