“We tried calling in to order for dinner one evening and got only voicemail for a good 30 minutes until we gave up and ordered somewhere else. Also said online ordering was disabled. We decided to give them another chance for lunch one day and we were able to get ahold of them over the phone. We ordered for pick up. Food was flavorful and still hot when we got home. Dishes are good portions. Only concern with our order was with my pregnant girlfriends pork egg roll. The pork inside was still RAW. We took a picture and tossed it out. The crab Rangoon also seemed to only be cream cheese with no crab. Extremely small place. They have two or three tables for eating in I think, or it’s just a waiting room for take out. Not sure. We will give them another shot and this review may be updated. November update - It has been a month since we ordered last, not much improvement. Crab rangoons should be called cheese rangoons. Some questionable pieces of meat and wondering if some is cooked fully. Please look carefully at your meats before eating. We have gotten raw pork, what looked like undercooked chicken, and seeing similar complaints in other reviews of this place.”

“Bunker buster at age 12 I am on my first golf cart over there paid for it by age 14, then rolled it over doing the garbage run. I used to love working out there in the ponds I caught me a little Dogfish fry named puppy. I never forget Bricks great German Shepherd, he would carry me back to the top of the hill and I would slide down again. Over a hundred gowfers frozen in a year. Lots of great people and good times over there.”

“My husband and I own The Cornerstone at Cedar wedding venue in Bourbon , Indiana. Brewhouse BBQ catered a wedding this weekend. I was very impressed as we have different caterers every weekend and this food was outstanding. All items were amazing. I saw the wedding guests going back for seconds and asking to have a take home container. I would definitely recommend to any couple for their event.”

“I think they must’ve had a very rough morning/day by the time I got there because no one was particularly happy to see a customer walk in… behind the counter was a bit of a mess and one bathroom had no toilet paper but I think they were understaffed and tired. I was grateful for this location though, needed a break on my 15 hour drive. PSL and sausage egg and cheddar were good :) The only thing I know about Michigan is this Starbucks haha.”

“We were traveling for a church retreat in Shipshewana. We had breakfast. My husband ordered the steak breakfast special, and I had the corned beef hash skillet. Everything was delicious but the steak was not prepared well. We had plenty of food for the price though. The eggs were cooked to perfection. His were scrambled, that's easy enough, but mine were over easy, slightly runny. Again, they were perfect. The steak was could have used a bit more seasoning and seemed steamed or baked, and I prefer biscuits with sausage gravey with my corned beef hash, and they don't serve biscuits individually. I would suggest NOT getting the steak. ***UPDATED My husband didn't tell me the whole truth about his steak until after my initial review.”

“Very small location with decent sized menu. Wait time on food can take up to an hour on even simple orders, however kitchen size appears quite limited which makes the wait understandable. Staff could be quicker at cleaning tables after customers and it would be much nicer to not see any of them touching their faces without washing or sanitizing right after especially when they are the ones bringing plates of food to the tables. Staff is very nice and very friendly with everyone, seemed very accommodating and welcoming. Food tastes of homemade and it is delicious! Refills and check ins would be appreciated as our water refills took almost as long as the food did. Overall not a bad spot, just could use a few improvements here and there.”
