Evergreen Downtown

Rarely a fan of Chinese food, however this place is the exception. High quality meat and rice, tasty sauces and appetizers. Super friendly staff as well, lovely atmosphere too.

We’ve eaten here a few times since they opened their downtown location. This new location is beautiful and modern, while being cozy and relaxing. It reminds me of the times I’ve been on vacation in California :)

We are long time customers of their Plymouth Rd. location and were so excited for this one to open. It’s a nice option for us, since we frequent downtown often.

Each visit downtown has been amazing! The food is extra tasty, along with kind, patient, friendly service. I love the Vegetable Delight and their General Tsou’s Cauliflower especially. The vegetables are definitely fresh! Their sauces are flavorful, without being too salty. Their hot and sour soup is always top notch, tasting so yummy and balanced.

I love the care and creativity they used in creating their menu at this location. There are plenty of veggie options. We look forward to bringing friends here, since some of ours are omnivores 😆 and the menu has options for many dietary preferences.

I honestly can tell that they put a lot of love into their food and the space itself. It’s wonderful to eat somewhere that makes you feel like extended family. This is very rare to experience in today’s world. I really enjoy supporting local businesses and this is one of my favorite as a long-time Ann Arbor resident. :)

Loved to ambiance. Food was great. Nice place to work/study from! Also a spot to sit down with friends!
Very college budget friendly. Good sized portions. Very Under-recognized/appreciated spot in Ann Arbor.
Highly recommended!

Stopped in for lunch today. Beef fried rice and veggie rice noodles were excellent. Great food!
