A great place to get some nutritious food at a reasonable price in a great location right at the heart of UMich campus. The food and beverages are all reasonably priced for their standards and style. The interior of the restaurant is also very nice and a good place to chill and relax.
Grabbagreen was so necessary in Ann Arbor. I wish it came 3 years ago when I was a Freshman at Michigan! The staff is so friendly and high energy. It’s quick, easy, healthy, and perfect for busy college students! Their smoothies, bowls, and juices are all fantastic. The Tokyo Bay bowl and immunization station smoothie are my favorites. Can’t go wrong with anything though honestly!
The service is phenomenal. I’m actually having a conversation with two employees right now and I feel a friendship blossoming between all three of us. Perhaps we’ll have weekly meet ups where we meet at Grabba Green and have our favorite Southwest bowl and a fresh smoothie to wash it down. Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone that reads this. Who knows. Maybe you can join our new friendship circle if you’re lucky.
Great service and great food. Get the PB&J smoothie every time and their food options are really good too. Highly recommend.
If you go to the Grabbagreen website to join email club, you receive a buy one bowl, get one free. But apparently, this location doesn’t take coupons.
My friend and I got two bowls. My friend created a ‘grab your own bowl’ starting with quinoa, adding avocado, carrots, egg, baby spinach, yam, feta topped with creamy avocado, finishing with cilantro and chicken for protein.
(We weren’t a fan of the egg chunks.)
The one item that stood out to me was mango bowl. It consists of quinoa, brown rice, mango, pineapple, banana, granola, coconut, almond milk and chia seeds.
(I felt the ratio of quinoa/ brown rice versus toppings weren’t right and the almond milk poured at the bottom made the brown rice mushy.)
