Plate Sushi & Chicken

This place is quite impressive. Despite the outside looking a bit mundane, the interior is modern and clean. Although I have only tried the lunch bento, I find the food to be impressive in terms of taste, quantity, variety, and price. This is pretty much my favorite restaurant on the north side of the river. I would heavily recommend trying this place out.

Excellent Sushi! Of all the many sushi places in Ann Arbor, this one stands out for it's exceptionally good rice, which was cooked perfectly and served at the proper temperature. I feel this aspect is overlooked by many other local sushi restaurants. The fish was also good quality. The Inari were also some of the best I've had in the states. I've been to Japan many times and I've eaten lots of sushi there. Plate Sushi & Chicken is one of the few restaurants that is comparable to what you get from a good sushi place in Japan. Definitely my new go to spot in Ann Arbor, and it should be yours too!

Excellent Sushi and appetizers! My new favorite sushi restaurant. Everything was wrapped perfectly and rich in flavor. We received the best service and very nice atmosphere as well. Will be returning!

This place is needed in Ann Arbor! With prices and rent becoming more and more expensive, it's lately one of the only places I can afford and REALLY enjoy it! The sushi is on its own great, but the value is wonderful. And the chicken is some of the best I've had in Ann Arbor. This is a mainstay for high inflation Ann Arbor and I'm very happy they are here!

Some of the best sushi we have had! This place is a gem. Very cute inside the staff is great. Every sushi roll we ordered was delicious. We didn’t try the fried chicken but I looks yummy. Definitely recommend this place.
