Abe's Coney Island

This place was recommended to me by a friend. I had a carry out order of chilli fries with cheese. They were really good. The cook insisted that l let him give me a fresh order because it took me longer to get there than l anticipated. I thought that was nice. This place had a lot of guests. It seemed like a family friendly atmosphere. Good vibes. I wanted to try the bacon cheese burger. I will go again

It certainly doesn't look like anything special, but make sure to stop in. It's a family favorite and an Ypsilanti staple! You can look at the displays of history on the walls while you eat. The food here is great! The portion sizes are giant. While I have tried many things over the 12 years of visiting my strongest recommendation is the Hippie Hash with feta.

Great food. Staff are polite, friendly and attentive to guests needs and it's very clean. The decor could use an update but it's been a staple in Ypsilanti for a long time. I love this place and highly recommend it.

I came into the store, not trying to buy any food or anything, and I have never seen better customer service, it is a friendly community, I just had to get some food. To this day I have never had a better chili dog, and the fries were perfect! Thank you guys for the great, and humbling service! Glenda, you are the best!

Traveled from Toledo area to try this place as a little adventure - was not disappointed! The staff was very friendly. I got pancakes and French fries and these were LITERALLY the BEST pancakes I’ve ever had!! My leftovers even tasted great! The fries were also some of the best, but I was very impressed with the pancakes. Everyone loved their food and it was pretty well priced, too. The cook even brought out some homemade hot sauce for us :)
