This is my favorite restaurant. Easily. If you were to get the same meal in Ann Arbor or Detroit, it would early be $20 more. The food is beautiful, delicious, and so so comforting. The employees and staff are kind, knowledgeable and competent. They always recommend great pairings. Do yourself a favor and go to this restaurant. OH! And don't get me started on the lunch sandwiches. Bravo to this incredible little restaurant.

Visited Bellflower for the first time today for lunch. I had the fried shrimp sandwich and it was super delicious! They have perfectly fried shrimp, with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and the most perfectly thin sliced pickles and Duke’s Mayonnaise. The bread is baked in-house and is legendary! And they have only been open for a short time. Still, it’s legendary! Let me tell you, it just doesn’t get any better than this! I can’t wait to try Bellflower for dinner some time. My coworker had the rice and beans and loved that.

Absolutely the best restaurant in Michigan. Excellent service, incredible food. Best gumbo I have ever had. Best meal I have had in 5 years. I don't want to eat anywhere else. Kudos to Mark Maynard for starting this amazing journey. I eat at restaurants in A2, Detroit, Traverse City, GR, Cleveland, Indianapolis, NYC, Chicago, Milwaukee, this place shines above all. This place is doing everything right. Outdoor heated seating completely affordable amazing oysters everything is incredible and scratch made. I cannot believe this exists in my beloved Ypsilanti. Thank you so much for such a wonderful evening. What an absolute gem.

I was craving raw oysters and was so happy to hear they had a wide selection of fresh oysters on the menu. The oysters tasted fresh and were a hit. We also ordered half the duck with was plenty for 2 people. Great crispy skin with tender and savory dark meat. I love that they served it with rice as well as pear, apple and carrots to balance the flavors. Looking forward to eating here again!

Great service and a great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend going while it's still nice enough to eat outside. Our waiter, Ken was helpful, kind, and attentive. The food was good as well. The scallops with gravy were great as were the garlic oysters. Only thing that would have been better was the autumn sangria. A little too sweet but wasn't terrible.
