Only one of its kind in Detroit. Unpretentious decor, great service and out of this world food. Their drinks are fantastic too. Honestly, I’m addicted to this place :)
Only negative would be the wait and the lack of the option to make reservations for small parties. But it’s not a big deal considering the prize at the end. Good things come to those who wait :)

Amazing food! Very cool space. A but pricey, but worth it.

Not to be hyperbolic, but this is simply the best restaurant in Detroit. Period. The menu is constantly evolving, and when an old favorite exits, it's replaced with an even more inventive dish. The drinks are equally inspired. Great ambience. Super friendly staff. Super popular, so sometimes there's a wait, but it's always worth it.

One of the most unique and exciting dining experiences in Detroit. The decor is stunningly modern, the food is exciting, and the drink selection is astonishingly good. Now that they take online reservations, I can't come up with a single reason not to give Takoi five stars. Bravo!

Now, this place is packed! We visited the first time on Saturday without a reservation and it’s a 2.5 hrs wait. We didn’t make it. The second time we tried was on Tuesday night, and being an out of town group, we were able to be seated in 20 min. Was it worth the wait? Well, our experience of this establishment was a definite yes. It’s a Thai fusion restaurant. We ordered the full red snapper, crispy ribs, papaya salad and some sticky rice and fried rice. The crispy ribs was the best. The red snapper was good but slightly over cooked, although the skin was quite crispy. The quality is more than I can expect. Good experience, and should try it once at least.
