“Great beer. Each is an excellent example of its type without being boring. Pleasing and complex details for each. Owner's are very nice. Easily one of the top ten breweries in Michigan. A hidden gem in Detroit but I predict not hidden for long.”

“Great dive bar! Highly recommended to escape from the day. They have a pool table and the drinks are cheap. They do serve food but you have to see if the kitchen is open. Limited menus of comfort food at convenient prices (less than $10).”

“First things first, reservations are good but you may not get a good spot. But once you do find a spot that is suitable, GAME ON! Food is delicious, drinks are awesome. Service is wonderful. Very nice atmosphere. Music is perfect and the whole vibe and flow and feel of the restaurant is really enjoyable. From start to finish if you want some great Cuban Cuisine I highly recommend this place!”

“The service here is top-notch. The prices are a couple dollars more than other comparable places. However, that's pretty much standard for hotel bars and restaurants.”

“Mootz is amazing! The first time we had it was at a party, we loved it so much that we ordered a few months ago. Since then it has become our go-to... we have loved it every time. The garlic knots are a must!”

“I have been to this bar on several occasions but this past weekend was the best experience I’ve had. I took my boyfriend for his birthday and it was his first time. They treated us like family! I had table reservations and they got me right in. They even gave us birthday shots and gave us the VIP feel. Standby has set the bar and I think just gained a regular attendee lol. 5 star bar! Check them out!”

“It's such a nice place. It's like an escape from Detroit... where class meets fine dining abs American fare.”

“We stopped by Buffalo Wild Wings for a late dinner. It was 7:30 p.m. Fairly quiet, but it was a Wednesday during Lent. We got great service and the food was really good too. I enjoy going places during their "off" hours. We could sit and talk and enjoy our food without it being too noisy or being in a hurry. I would visit here again.”

“I was in Detroit for three days for a conference. Asked the concierge at the Foundation Hotel where 3 of us could get a good breakfast/early lunch and they suggested this eatery. Beyond the delicious, healthy juices — we enjoyed 3 delicous sandwiches (from an enticing menu)! I adored my Dante’s Heaven burger — perfectly cooked and superbly spicy cheese & peppers. Nice selection of sides, as well as milkshakes and a $5 kids menu.”

“I went here for my birthday and it was absolutely fantastic. It is a very small place but the decor is nice and it makes for a pleasant dining experience. The calamari appetizer was some of the best I've ever had. Their meatballs were very fresh tasting and again, some of the best I've ever had. All of the pizzas that were ordered were very nice and the crust was also very tasty. The pasta noodles are a great texture and the different sauces were also very good. I highly recommend checking out this establishment, you won't regret it!”

“Everything about our experience was amazing. We had a short wait before being seating. We could get a beverage to sit with or to walk around with. A short text to my phone let us know our table was ready. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious! I highly recommend the portobello omelette and the whole grain toast. The atmosphere was warm and inviting! Definitely a great start to our day!”

“From the moment you walk in Prime + Proper, you're immediately surrounded by a luxurious air. The city of Detroit seems to come alive in Prime + Proper. The bar is a fun, exciting atmosphere, while the dining room is much more private and romantic. Upon being seated, my wife had arrangements for an incredible, delicious bottle of champagne to be waiting for us and they hit the mark perfectly. We had an amazing seared salmon dinner with potatoes. Every bite of the meal tasted like a hundred bucks. It was such a wonderful treat. The staff is courteous and incredibly respectful. The food was amazing. The ambiance is something you just have to experience for yourself. It was such a wonderful time and shined a beautiful light on Detroit.”

“Good place to get a healthy meal in Detroit. Fast service and a good selection of bowls and salads. Many of the bowls come with a fried egg. The portion sizes are great. I took leftovers back to my hotel. I really enjoyed my salad from here, but it probably won't make it part of my regular lunch mix. Prices aren't absurd compared to the rest of downtown. If you do go, I recommend the yoga girl with chicken.”

“But, inside, it's just a nice, clean, inviting carry out place. And the food is delicious. You do have to get used to the fact that an awful lot of food goes into each meal. It's best to order less than you think you'll need or figure that you will have some available for the next meal. Service, by the way, is friendly and fast. btw, there are tables inside in case you care to eat there and the atmosphere is quite comfortable.”

“Oh, my goodness. No pork, no gluten, all delicious. Whether you have food allergies or not, this place is amazing! the beans and bbq sauce were a little spicy, so be warned.”

“Two for a quick dinner and both in the mood for Thai. A bit quiet on a rainy Wednesday evening and had the place almost to ourselves. Pad See Ew for me, Pad Thai for partner. Tofu for an appetizer. Very good portions, everything nice and fresh, served quickly. And always like to be able to choose my level of spiciness - and delighted that their ratings were on target.”

“On a recommendation, stopped into Lafayette next door, but when I saw American I had to save room for that next. Great place for a hot dog. You want local flavor, this is it. They focus on the basic Coney Island hot dog - dog, chili, mustard, onions - and do it well. One is not enough. There is a rivalry between the two, and not much difference. If I had to pick, I'd pick American because they ad a bit more chili and the servers banter with you more.”

“We were visiting Detroit for the Labor Day weekend and wanted to try some local pizza. We read several great reviews about this place and we were not disappointed. It was delicious! I just wish we had one here, because I'm craving their pizza again! On a cold night you can stop in and warm up with some wings covered in some sweet baby rays sauce. Yum Takes 10 minutes if you don't call it in.”

“A nice friendly spot in the heart of detroit. The food was good! Really good drinks. The service was a little slow, but it was Saturday evening so that’s to be expected. The menu had a wide range of foods from bowls to burritos and quesadillas!”

“It's my go to lunch spot. If I'm trying to eat on a budget. And it's always good. Can't really mess pizza up. Similar to New York city style pizza.”

“40 minutes to get my dang sandwich! I had timed it so I could eat before I checked out of my hotel. Nope. Had to check out and the dude runs in, hands it to the front desk, says "it's already paid for," and runs out. I tipped almost three bucks for freaky slow, terrible service! Update: credit where credit is due. Day two (03.11.20) was much better. Great sandwich, delivered quickly.”

“The owners are very nice! It's a family run cafe with great service. I got an Alive raw juice and it was delicious.”

“Their Greek salads are generous portions with beets, olives, tomatoes, feta cheese, lettuce and their wonderful homemade dressing! (Not a traditional Greek salad that doesn't contain lettuce). Their gyros have tender moist pieces of meat and their pita bread is the best!!! Whenever I'm in town, I make my way there. It's a casual simple restaurant that's quite busy during the weekday lunch hour. They also have great burgers and fries!”

“I ordered the meat lovers in Dearborn. It was good. I ENJOYYYED the Bellacino's Downtown way more. The owner is Downtown and the flavor of my personal created pizza was EXCELLENTE ????. Customer service at both locations was WONDERFUL.”
