“This was the first spot I grabbed a bite and a beverage when I arrived in Detroit. It was excellent - I tried the Curry Pizza, which sounded funky but was *delicious*. I would absolutely recommend this spot. The service was good, the bar was funky, and there's a barcade (bar+arcade) upstairs! I also got to try a cider there that I had never tried and enjoyed it greatly.”

“5 Star all the way! This place has been around about 50 years! It has a cool vibe inside like your playing a part in the Godfather! There were 4 of us total and between the food, drinks and valet, the bill was about $300.00 but definitely worth it! The Chateaubriand Flambe for 2 was absolutely delicious. It's a 4 course meal dessert optional. The waiters were extremely professional and seasoned. If your ever in the NEW DETROIT I highly recommend Mario's!”

“We decided on this place, and were blown away! They make everything in house, including cheese and beer!! The bread of the day was cheddar cheese. It was so good! The cheddar flavor was subtle, but unmistakable. It was served warm, as well. I had the crab cakes and rice pilaf. Delicious! Not that overwhelming green pepper flavor in so many crab cakes. Fish and chips were AMAZING!! As good, if not better, than any we had in Ireland. The batter was not your typical beer batter, or whatever, either. Just so good!”
