“Quick service granted there were only a few groups there. Nice environment and your typical sports bar. Had plenty of entertainment with pool tables, dart boards, numerous tv's, hunting game, music kiosk and a few other things. Good spot for a group to relax. Only reason i knocked one star down was because the bartender seemed irritated and wasn't the friendliest. The server was cheerful though.”

“Excellent food all around! I just went here for the first time and wasn't sure what to expect. I wasn't in a pizza mood and got a burger, which was excellent. They're ground from fresh steak trimmings from Eastern Market and char grilled. It was the best burger I've had in a long time. My brother got a char grilled chicken sandwich and we split an order of mozzarella sticks, both of which were delicious. Their "thin" fries are pretty standard and only thin compared to their potato and wedges, but were good nonetheless. I have no complaints.”

“First-timer. I ordered eggs, pancakes and bacon. I requested crispy bacon. My ordered arrived quickly. My eggs were slightly overcooked and the bacon was very dry. I had them redo the bacon and it was still very dry looking (almost like rinds). A server asked me if I requested the bacon to be cooked well done. I told my server, crispy; I believe there is a difference. The pancakes had a good flavor however they soaked up the syrup causing me to use more syrup than I would have liked to. Upon approaching the counter to pay my bill, I noticed a sign stating that they charge 4% on all credit card transactions. I was happy to use cash :-) Please make a note of this if you decide to dine here. I pray that your experience is better than mine.”

“This is a hidden gem. I've lived in the area all my life and this is my first trip to this restaurant. I was impressed by the cleanliness right from the start. We were greeted in a timely manner. The menu is impressive with a variety of choices. I had the Lemon baked cod with real mashed potatoes and a cup of cabbage soup. The fish was cooked perfectly and not too lemony. Loved the cabbage soup! Even the potatoes are worth rating with a star. We eat out every Monday and are looking forward to many more trips to try more from the menu. The soup and salad bar looks impressive with 6 soups to choose from. They even have hummus as a salad choice. I recommend this place for anyone looking for quality home style cooking. My dinner partner ordered the liver and onions, also cooked perfectly to his specification. The onions were tender and sweet. Delicious! They are open 7 days a week 7 am- 9pm which is a plus.”

“We've lived in Livonia for years and only discovered Archie's a couple of years ago. All of their food is delicious - they have the best fish and chips in this area! The restaurant is kept very clean and we love it. I wish they were open a little later on the weekends (they close at 9:00). They start to run out of dinner choices if you go during the last hour or so before they close. It's now one of our favorite restaurants!”

“This is a very busy gas station. It has a lot of potential, however it is seemingly slow. I would estimate that the average wait time is over 10 minutes. They could use additional help here. The afternoon and evening are the slowest times. The morning shift seems to move a lot faster. I will say that this is a safe location and they have a lot of lotto scratch tickets to pick from.”

“This place is actually pretty good oh, it's my first time having them I got sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, egg drop soup, shrimp with lobster sauce. The rice is really good has a grilled flavor which is yummy, the chicken is good and juicy oh, the sweet and sour sauce is sweet taste good, the shrimp with lobster sauce taste good. The egg drop soup wasn't my favorite but it's not a big deal it still tastes alright. It isn't anything mind-blowing but it's really good.”

“The food always tastes great and comes out hot! The menu is easy to read and categorized well. We were waited on by Ginny who was extremely accommodating, especially to our 3 year old. She interacted with him often, and even remembered his name. When family is treated well, we always come back. The only complaint I have is that the floors could have been swept but they did seem a little short staffed at the time.”

“Still the "greasy spoon" type of joint you know (if not you should!) and love! Great 'all american' cuisine... namely burgers, dogs, fries, and shakes... amazing... delicious... shakes! “Finally made it to Luigi's for the first time and we will be back. The table bread was fresh, hot, and kid approved! We always order cheese pizzas and Luigi's round cheese was great! The squid and octopus were like chewing a tire, devoid of their natural flavor. The more Americanized rolls were relatively good, but everything was so drenched in sauces and extras that you couldn't taste the core ingredients of fish, rice and seaweed.”
