“These aren’t you’re average donuts. They’re much better because they are baked and not as oily as your chain donut shops. If you want average run of the mill donuts then this may not suit you well. If you want something extraordinary and a “healthier” option then this is it. You’ll enjoy a deliciously dressed donut without feeling as weighed down or over sugared as the other places. I haven’t tried the coffee yet but will give em a go next time. Warning: If you walk away from these donuts for longer than a minute they have a strange way of disappearing; usually when you have company around. I’m still working on a way to manage that issue.”

West Dearborn is really stepping up its game. “Finally an after dinner / concert dessert venue. Fresh and amazingly tasty desserts, great location, interior design and friendly staff. The staff each have their own favorite food, but mine are ALL of the cinnamon rolls and the cheesecake. Prices are affordable and the line moves pretty fast. “My wife is vegan and would love to try this place. Good Cakes and Bakes has been recommended to us many times and this morning we finally got there for the first time. We were very surprised by how nice it looks inside. The place is small but has a nice menu with several great sounding options. The food and drinks are delicious, and my wife really enjoyed it! Baked goods have many wheat free, soy free, and nut free options on top of being 100% vegan. The eating area is small, but colorful and cute. Excellent flavor and good portion sizes. We brought home several terrific looking desserts but wanted to get this review done before I forgot.”

“One of the best locations I’ve been to. The customer service is beyond perfect. The lady taking our order made sure we were or were not wanting to get all the add one we could. Double checked everything and made sure we were happy. Spoke so clearly that even I could understand it and I’m 90% def and wearing hearing aids. Only two minus was the little girl making the drinks and organization. As the little girl was measuring off the milk to use for a Small and Medium hot chocolate.. measured off too little so she filled up the medium all the way, and the small one only a quarter ... then filled the rest with cream... while I was watching. Lucky to you that I like cream and that I like my drink not too hot..... Secondly there were only 3 employees and too many customers. Which resulted in that we had to wait forever, as one person did taking the order and making food. The other person was cashing clients out and making food. And the last one was making drinks and food and calling people.... you guys need more staff.”

The great reviews will tell you that this Diner has Homemade, Great tasting, hearty, flavorful food. The street tacos, the mac & cheese, the roast , horse radish mash potatoes, The Burgers, homemade condiments....OH MY!!! GET READY! Not to mention that I am a Certified Event Planner. So I hired this HONEY HOLE DINER to cater an event for 100 people. I ordered the Roast & mash, mac & cheese, asparagus, & the crispy homemade potato fries. I picked the food up, they packed it in foil pans, nothing spilled or leaked, they loaded up my truck and I traveled 40 minutes to the venue and the food was freshly cooked, still nice and hot when I set it up. THE GUEST LOVED IT. It was amazing to see this crowd eat and take home doggy bags. They asked so many times about the cook. The Honey Hole Diner did that!!!”

“Attended a gathering in The Wine Cellar that was definitely a unique experience. There were approximately 50 people attending and there was still plenty of room for more. Friendly, knowledgeable service staff. Many bottles of wine on the walls made for a unique visual experience. The appetizers, pasta, salmon and beef sirloin were top notch. I would love to visit again. Don't forget to bring a light jacket, if you need, as this is a functioning wine cellar and it is a bit cool.”
