“My wife and I stayed here for our Wedding Anniversary and loved it. Room was right on the water. Looking out the window you had an amazing view of lake Superior. Room was clean and very well stocked. Easy to cast to the TV. Staff is very friendly and the food was amazing. Loved the sauna and Massage!”

“Great place to stop on the North Shore. We ordered the Reuben sandwich which was absolutely delicious and perfect. We also ordered the chips and salsa which was supposed to come with sour cream… maybe they were out. My trail salad also missing some ingredients listed on the menu and the lettuce itself a little brown but most of it delicious. This is a deli style eatery where you order your food at the counter and then it comes out to you. No real opportunity for corrections, but all in all I would recommend stopping here.”

“I'll start off saying the service was fine. Everything else from there was mediocre at best. The best thing was the barbecue chicken mac and cheese which was on the kids menu. Went there with the family and I ordered the risotto which was extremely bland boring and a scallops lacked any sear, it was most likely frozen and microwaved or something because they were rubbery. The chicken sandwich was bland and boring as well even though the description was quite tantalizing. The buttered rum was fairly decent, the old fashioned and the blueberry gimlet came with what I would assume was ice from an ice maker and using tap water. Which is never going to produce the best drink. Overall a $37 risotto that had almost no flavor and frozen scallops I was not impressed whatsoever. It is Lutsen So I suppose I didn't expect culinary excellence but if you're going to put the stuff on the menu learn how to make it.”
