“An Ad showed up on my phone....Looked good, so we decided to go after we found out it was kid friendly. We walked in and we were greeted with a hello and a smile. The old time charm was very inviting. The word must be getting out, because the eatery filled up very quickly. Even thoughs just a bit shorthanded, our order was delivered to our table promptly. “I played here for the first time this past weekend, and I must say it will not be the last. The course is stunning and with the leaves in full color, I can't think of a more beautiful round of golf in my life. The layout really makes it a cerebral round, its not just grabbing driver on every hole. Shot placement is imperative on holes 3 and 17 for sure. The fairways are nicely manicured and the greens soft and receptive. There are some nice risk/reward shots where you are handsomely rewarded or severely punished. Oh and I hope you like elevated tee boxes, because there are a bunch, which make for some gorgeous views.”

“Mediocre at best. Food wasn't terrible, but wasn't great either. No AC in the restaurant, which made the experience terrible on a 90 degree day. Waitress was nice enough, but it took us sitting there for 10 minutes before a bartender had to tell the waitress to at least give us menus after walking around us the whole time. Don't really think we will be back, and certainly not in the summer if we do decide to give them a second chance. Parking is abysmal. Atmosphere was decent. Seemed clean. Unique decor.”

“This place was absolutely outstanding. We had great and prompt service, even with it being kind of busy. I tried the jumbo shrimp boom booms, and they were simply amazing. It's a great take on shrimp. Nice little zing and spicy to it, and it had so much flavor. The price was really good for shrimp too. My girlfriend got the Sea Dog Salad with crab and lobster. I'm not even that big into crab or lobster, but this salad has to be one of the best things I've ate in my life. The salad dressing that goes with it really makes it though. Outdoor dining comes with a spectacular view. The river and the building make a beautiful scenery for all to enjoy. The fact there is such a beautiful restaurant, with great service, amazing food, and nothing to go wrong; you can't help but to love this place. All I can say is they definitely earned future business and my recommendation to anyone in the area looking to try some outstanding food. It's definitely my new favorite restaurant, probably of all time.”

“You walk in and just kind of stand there hoping someone will make eye contact and seat you. Doesn't seem to have a dedicate host station. Very loud. They use those old fashioned dump stations in the dining area for dishes so every couple minutes there is a loud crash of dirty dishes. Normal for a greasy spoon diner 30 years ago, but dirty dishes next to patrons at a high end super club in 2020?.. not so much. I don't mind spending some money for a nice night out, but their prices are very high for the environment you're in. $34 for prime rib isn't crazy, until you realize you're in a glorified diner. The food was fantastic, and the drinks were stiff. Maybe they were just busy, but we almost left before placing our order. If they ditched the dump stations and reduced the table count they'd have a nice setup, but allowing your servers to get swamped and rush kills the mood completely.”
