ZZQ Smokehouse

Amazing food, great sauces. But rub is little saltier for me. Great ???? and great smoked Beans. And I have also tried Memphis dry rub chicken wing.

The restaurant is great and roomy, the meals was yummy and the prices were very economical. fast, productive service and very affable waiters. Recommended.

Have been twice and both times it was excellent. The pulled pork is tender but not mushy and has great flavor. The brisket is able to be cut with a fork and the crust is worth fighting a family member for. Even the sides get special attention. You won't find everyone else's baked beans here. The icing on the cake, metaphorically speaking, is their line of sauces that they make fresh in the store. Sweet, spicy, smokey, Carolina, mustard, garlic and hot all have something they bring to the various meats and all are worth trying. Portions are generous and the staff is super friendly. Best BBQ in the cities.

I will have to say the smoked chicken and pulled pork is some of the best I have had ever. So tender and juicy a great smokey flavor and the seasoning was perfect. Would recommend this anytime. And the owner is a great person, had a great time talking about smoking meat and everything. What a pleasant experience.

I used to love ZZQ, but unfortunately it just hasn't been very consistent. Over the multiple visits (probably at least 10), I've had some of the best BBQ I've had locally, and I've had the worst BBQ I have had locally. As of the recent visits, the experience had been towards the latter. That said, I'd go back anytime if I could just eat the fries with garlic sauce. Overall ZZQ is okay in my opinion, but not worth going based on the inconsistencies when there are other options locally. Owner and staff are fantastic, though!
