“So glad we took a flyer on this BBQ place based only on I-35E sign. Low key outside appearance in a strip mall but inside the force is strong in this place. Music is all Blues and volume is moderate. Your nose knows this is seriously devoted to smoked meats. We had the rib tips and a sandwich with a 3-meat combo. Both excellent. Baked beans were a bit smoky and not too sweet. Corn bread is dense enough to take butter and has a hint of honey. An easy drive from the Twin Cities and well worth the trip. Sorry no pix but my fingers were sauce drenched. Original sauce is balanced but more heat and more sweetness both available. Beers and big tv screens too.”

“I came here with my family and we got our four subs to go but once we got to the vehicle we couldn't find one of our 6 inch subs. So i went back in to see if it was left on the counter and the manager happened to be right there when I was looking. I just explained that we couldn't find one of our subs and he insisted to remake it and then threw in three cookies all for free. It was very kind of him. We later found the sub had fallen under the seat of our vehicle haha. It was very nice of them to remake the sub though! Great staff and great attitudes!”

“Very fresh and light, nice modern Thai food that is not as greasy and heavy as some Twin Cities places. There is a gas fireplace that is cozy in winter and outside dining when it is warm. I appreciate the lack of loud muzak. The cafe is very clean and nicely decorated, and the help is friendly and efficient. Try the nicely seasoned Thai Fried Rice with crunchy beansprouts and fresh lime.”

“Great place. They have a small playground for the kiddos as well as seating for anyone going there. Could you a little cleaning up, but it's got a great neighborhood feel with the state it is currently in. Still though. A little love never hurt. One other thing that was good is that they have some food (from the grill) offerings as well. It's a one stop shop for a hot afternoon. Good stuff. Soft serve was on point. Moose tracks ice cream was legit. Highly recommend it.”

“Made a reservation for tonight to celebrate my son’s birthday. We were seated upon arrival. Our waitress, while sweet, never introduced herself. Her attention to the table was appropriate. Table awareness by the ancillary staff needs helps. Several times items there was reaching in front of my wife’s face versus repositioning to deliver to the table or take items away. The food was lack-luster. Not sure if there was supposed to be, but there was no bread basket to start the meal. We started with the calamari which was overdone. My son’s grilled cheese.... the cheese was barely melted. The fried chicken breast on my sandwich was also over cooked. Wait time for food was good, but just seems the fry cook needs a little re-training. It had been a while since we had been here, and I think it will be awhile before we go back.”
