“I absolutely love this place! I come here a bunch with my friends and the food is amazing. You can seat yourself. Their furniture is new and very nice. On my most recent visit I got the Choriqueso Fries, which are the perfect size for two+ people to share. They were only slightly spicy, which was great for me and my nonexistent spice tolerance. My friend got the shrimp empanada and he said it was amazing. The burrito was huge and delicious. It had beef, potato, cheese, and a bunch of other good stuff. It was very filling, I'm a 6' 4" guy with a big appetite and I could only finish 3/4 of it. For desert we got the Tres Leches cake to go because we were so full. Can't say enough good things about it. If you're going to eat here, you HAVE to get the Tres Leches cake. Just do it. My only issue with this place is it was empty when we got there, nobody except for us and our server. This place deserves to be packed at all times! Please go here, it is worth it!”

“First time trying out Rooster. Staff was friendly and helpful. The place is clean with nice bathrooms. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It was excellent with good sauce and a decent kick, though I’d prefer it hotter. The waffle fries were good but not terribly hot, thus the 4 stars for the food. The lemonade is worth the extra cost IMO. Try it, we need to support these great, small, independent restaurants! I look forward to trying out the wings next time.”

They are just getting started, so service is a little slow as they get rolling but the staff were nice and we understood that they are all training and learning. The food was great! “Me and my family bought some teas, wings, fried rice and apps. All the Teas where very very tasty and amazing and very flavorful. They have a lot of choices and you can choose your own sugar level which my family very much appreciated. The apps are freaking amazing! You can tell that they are not only freshly made but you can tell it wasn't frozen. The honey wings are to die for and the garlic wings are very good too. Sadly the only reason I'm doing this to a four star instead of the five is that the fried rice was only ok, nothing special compared to the rest. However the Asian slaw and haystacks were very good too!”

“Dropped by tonight with my sister and daughter, the decor is so cute my young daughter loved it. The staff is amazingly kind, friendly and knowledgeable. It is a family establishment and you can tell they care about the customers experience. We tried the milk tea with taro and the strawberry smoothie. Loved the milk tea and my daughter also loved her drink! For dinner I had a poke bowl with salmon and my daughter had orange sesame chicken both were fantastic and fresh. This place is so good, wish I lived closer. The entire staff is wonderful.”

“Okay experience, but we probably won’t come again. The service was friendly and timely for a busy Saturday night. Unfortunately, our food was cold and barely room temperature. Rice was not fully cooked. The taste was underwhelming and nothing close to the explosive flavor of authentic Mexican food. I think this is a cool place for drinks with friends because it’s aesthetically pleasing to the eye and they have an extensive drink selection with a cool bar. In terms of the food, I would rather choose somewhere else. You can definitely find tastier Mexican food in the area for a better price. Maybe in the future I will consider returning since the restaurant is still very new. Hopefully in a few months or a year things will be better!”
