“The Depot Express offers what I would call a decent dining experience in a town where good dining is fairly hard to come by. The ambiance is fairly bar-like and the food quality can be somewhat hit-or-miss. I have noticed that the steaks are somewhat overdone, so if you like your steaks done "medium" it's usually best to order your steak "medium-rare". The summertime patio seating is nice with a view of one of the famous Alexandria lakes. It's worth checking out if you are visiting the area.”

“Yes this place maybe small and if you were driving past it on the way into or leaving Starbuck you might not notice it you would for sure see the pumps but the building it's self you might think was a small shed buts it's Not that is there gas station but I do have mention that once in side the place is surprisingly roomy with all the things you find in side any gas station so please don't think that there isn't a selection. I do have to tell you if you come in the evening you most likely will encounter and very helpful and nice young lady she is absolutely a ray of light in a world that can be hectic so I have to say that is why I gave this place a Five ? Stars. And remember everyone to buckle up and have good day”

They also do an excellent job following Covid 19 stuff everything is super clean and safe with plentiful bottles of hand sanitizer available. Like any other buffet the food is better if you go in the morning.”

“I always order the same thing, four tacos lengua. Their lengua is tasty, well seasoned and tender. They put generous amounts and is enough for two meals. The service is great always polite and the restaurant atmosphere is peaceful. I have dined in and ordered carry out. I highly recommend them. Definitely the best tasting tacos in Alec and I have tried all three places. ????????????”
