“I gave it four stars as the food was very good. I had a steak and augratin potatoes and salad. They run a soup and salad bar with the main course or a stand alone item. The soup is hot and tasty. The lettuce was fresh, crisp and delicious. I took one star off as when this restaurant first opened it was more upscale with table linens etc. That was when people dressed for dinner. Unfortunately raggedy pants, baseball caps and sweats seem to be the norm. Too bad people dress like its a truck stop. It is a pretty building and sits on the side of a hill.”

“Went in the first time, invited by my friends Shaun and Becky. Started out with a few appetizers (the artichoke cheese dip, was fantastic), then had pizza. Everything is made, from scratch (crust, sauces and even the sausage). From there, the fun went into high gear. The people are a fun-loving community who all know each other by name. But among these wonderful souls, I found a dear acquaintance I’ve known my entire life - an old upright piano. For nearly 6 hours, we danced and forgot about the troubles of life for a while. Miles and Lisa, thank you for making this Louisiana boy feel like family. Here’s to the next one...and there WILL be a next one ????????”

“My daughter and I stopped on a weekend getaway in the area and were excited to find a small town restaurant that was more than burgers and fries. The service was attentive. The owner/chef, in addition to making amazing food, frequently belted out the song playing and was having infectious fun. The squash soup is a MUST! Squash puree poured over a bed of cotton candy, nuts, herbs and bacon. Say what?!”

Also has the Brussels sprouts and they were burnt so it was unfortunate because I was excited. Overall love the menu, I'll go back just wont order the fish.”

“Really great food! It was my first time eating there and it did NOT disappoint! I don't like coleslaw or any raw cabbage. I tried a little taste of the coleslaw that came with the fish and I ate every bite. Then a piece of pie had to follow.... very wonderful! My adopted mom is the best cook/baker, hands down.... but this place is a close second! I will return and I recommend trying it if you haven't! And the young man who was our waiter.... outstanding!”
