Staghead Gastropub

Visiting from out of town and was greeted nicely, however my blonde waitress was so rude. She never made eye contact or talked, and slammed our drinks on the table, causing them to shake. When my food came, she quickly put it on the table and left. Around everyone else she was normal, smiling and talking to customers. I don’t know who the hell you are, but even if I was someone you knew and disliked, that is messed up. The food was good, however my burger was undercooked from the way I wanted it. 3/5 because of that waitress and the burger.

Staghead is a hidden gem in a hidden gem city. If you love good food (who doesn’t) then Staghead is what you’re looking for in Red Wing. Flavors on flavors here. You will not be disappointed. Presentation of the food is great. Get a reservation. You’ll need it.

Atmosphere, staff, food, and on tap! The entire entree of scallops were perfect combinations of presentation and taste. Our staff was wonderfully helpful and always available. What a great little place with a beautiful bar to sit at and so much to look at.

Walked in expecting okay bar food. I was absolutely blown away by everything. The service was amazing. My girlfriend wasn't sure what kind of beer she wanted, so our server offered to bring her a few samples to see what she might like. The food was outstanding as well. We tried a meat board, and we each had a burger. Everything was absolutely amazing! Definitely a place that is worth your time and money. We will definitely be back, the next time we're in Red Wing.
