Friends of mine brought us here not knowing that we had been big fans of The Howe which is also incorporated with this bar and a couple others. Every bit of food was sampled by all. All the little details were amazing. The upstairs area. We were sitting in the stage area. And there was an outside area under tents. I was really intimidated by the urinals. I don't even know what to say about them they are very very old and uniquely shaped. Top-notch food definitely a place to go to.
Had drove past this many times and always wanted to try it. Finally tried it out yesterday. Was a pretty busy little spot, but plenty of tables and high tops to seat yourself at. Chill , laid back atmosphere. Everything was a little pricey but totally worth it. They have a large collection of beers and house cocktails. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food. We ordered: brisket grilled cheese with fries, cheese curds, broccoli cheddar tots, buffalo chicken salad, and a quesadilla. All of the food was phenomenal with good sized portions. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Excellent bar and restaurant year round. Summer time highlights are the patio, with access from the parking lot and as others have mentioned you can bring your dog. They are great about being dog friendly, not only do they bring out bowls of water and offer complimentary treats, but they also have a whole menu of dog friendly meals.
In the winter time they also have a heated patio tent with windows, tvs, and full service. It's a great option for when the interior is busy. A few random tips are that they have an overflow parking lot across the street which almost always has spaces. Another tip is they have awesome service industry specials on Sunday nights.
The food and drinks have always been great here. I usually go with a sandwich/burger and fries/tots and have never been let down.
Great stop for early afternoon Sunday brunch. Nice selection of tap beers to enjoy while waiting for your food and friendly staff. I had the Avocado Toast, my wife had the Down South and my son had the Pound Town BLT with fries and Chipotle Mayo. I tried them all and would recommend all 3.
We LOVE this place! The food & drinks are great. It has an AWESOME patio (dog-friendly ???? so grand-puppy, Osker can hang out with us too!) Staff is very friendly & attentive, eve. when they are swamped♥️
