I very much enjoyed the gracious service, especially the pakora. I ordered the bone-on lamb rogan josh with mild-medium spice but it wasn't as hot as I hoped. The plain, fresh naan was glistening with butter. Great portion size and proportion of meat to sauce. It is a very hospitable establishment. If you are looking for good food go here. I will be back. Quiet, authentic Indian cuisine with comforting, hot chai and fluffy, flavorful garlic naan. Friendly and helpful service, too.

They have very authentic and diversified Indian food! We ordered Chicken Masala and Chicken Makhani. The creamy, smooth texture with perfectly sweet and sour flavor is very tasty and memorable. The restaurant has very clean and comfortable environment. We and our Indian friend also enjoyed a cup of Chai tea and mango smoothy after the meal. Overall, I like and recommend the dining experience and food a lot.

I feel thankful to have such a standout spot for my favorite foods here on Lake Street. India Kutir did not disappoint on my first visit here. The shahi korma, daal, and avocado chutney with naan were exceptionally tasty. I also really appreciated the attentiveness of our server and quality of the food. I hope to be back. It’s easy to leave a clean plate here.

India Kutir offers comfortable price points and uncomplicated comfort food, and we tested their tikka masala, a savory and aromatic saucy delight, both the chicken and vegetarian. Their garlic naan is fresh and hot and every bite was sumptuous. We enjoyed their lively and festive music and the owner and server provided exceptional and welcoming reception and information on his front house and delicious cuisine.
