    I haven't been there for a while so I thought I would take my chances on Saturday night. Place was empty which is a bad sign. The food and service were about a 3 star. With so many excellent mexican hot spots on Lake street, El Nortino should focus on its service and providing a higher quality product.

    Lovely service and delicious food. This is not a fast in&out Mexican restaurant. El Norteno is a place to dine, relax and enjoy great food at a leisurely pace.

    Authentic, home-made Mexican dishes were outstanding! Patio with many plants and trees transports you away from the city. The mole was complex and delicious!
