J.D. Hoyt's Supper Club

Fantastic Dine-in experience for a number of reasons. What stands out to me the most is the enthusiasm, knowledge and service our waiter DJ provided. He was so knowledgeable about the menu and the way dishes were prepared. We enjoyed his company and followed his dish recommendations. We finished our meal feeling so impressed by the level of service we received.

The food was great. The pork chop and bread pudding stood out to me the most. The chop is super thick juicy and cooked to perfection. The bread pudding comes in a huge family portion and isn’t too sweet. Cozy family dine in experience that I would want to share with my family.

This is one of the best places to go in downtown Mpls. A long time supper club in the heart of a big city. You can't miss on any food or drinks, everything is great! And the atmosphere...awesome! Our favorite spot to sit is part way in the restaurant, but the seats are at the bar. The bartender has to reach up to, it's a great spot.

We came in from out of town and happened to be 2.5 hours early for our reservation.
Our party of three stopped in any way to see if they might have anything available. The hostess did everything he could but they were totally booked which was perfectly fine with us, totally understood. The owner came over and went above and beyond to find us a table on which he did. That in itself sets it apart from most restaurants. The food was wonderful and service second to none.

We had a super time with old friends. Food was good but not as great as all the reviews. Chef should chill on the overdose of salt. Let the taste of the dish come through. Waitress and staff super nice.

Where to start? The staff were absolutely fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable and all around pleasant people. The food was perfect. The drinks were amazing. I will definitely be coming back.
