So, so, so tasty! The woman working gave us the history of the place and it was a fun little stop before our fishing trip!
This is a stop whenever I'm in Grand Rapids (I call ahead to order though). The pasties are wonderful and the folks there are always kind.
Definitely stop here if driving through Grand Rapids, MN! Best pasties we've ever had. We are full-time RVers & filled our freezer. Today's breakfast. Nom!
i am working in grand rapids for a little bit and when I finally made time to make a trip to this store I wasn't disappointed. nobody I know in middle of Wisconsin knows what pastor's are so this weekend I took a pile to a gathering of my friends. and the one ones who know the meal said they are damn yummy. and my girlfriend who never had one . only ever heard me of pasties. ate the whole thing. i never heard of putting sauerkraut in one and I love trying new things and I never found a way I like kraut yet. but holy cow. I made some brown gravy sauce and topped it .. I just like gravy with mine. and I will now say I know one way I like kraut. I can't wait to go get some more. and the lady in the store is very friendly and willing to tell u bout the Pastie.
in all if u are a fan or never had a Pastie it's worth a stop. if at the least for the smell of it.
The business was open today. The man who waited on us was extremly helpful in explaining all of the options. Bonus for me, the man working was wearing a mask, and we were as well. We were lucky enough to have a Pastie that was fresh from the oven, and we also took a bag full home. We shared the Original Pastie, and the crust was flaky, the filling was flavorful, and the side of gravy was delicious.
