“My father's and my fist time here. 1/26/2024 Friday 4PM: Greeted by 2 lovely women servers with beautiful smiles. Cozy midsized restaurant with 3/4ths of the tables full of customers. Everyone was having the Friday special of all you can eat fish or shrimp for $9.99. My dad and I ordered the special as well. It came with baked beans, coleslaw, dinner roll, choice of potato, and tartar sauce. Our plates arrived with a mountain of food. I noticed another customer had a pile of onion rings that looked delicious, so I asked one of the lovely servers if their onion rings were as good as they looked. She confirmed they were indeed. As my father and I were discussing the nice restaurant and excellent food, she surprised us with 2 onion rings for us to sample. That's excellent service. We were so full from our first plate full, the all you can eat option, isn't really an option. Lol. We needed a to-go box. My father insisted he pay for our meals and left a 35% tip which say a lot coming from my dad. As we drove off, my dad said he would like to go back again. He really enjoyed the food and service. I agree and said next time we will have to get the special with onion rings. Rating: 10/10 on food, service, atmosphere and price. Perfect all around.”

“Hidden gem in the northwoods. Solid patio seating with plenty of fresh air (diner style inside if mosquitoes bug you), thorough menu with lots of breakfast choices. Excellent selection of baked goods. Bonus stars for staff attention to Covid and social distancing. You feel safe. Breakfast sandwich. Melts in your mouth. So good. 5 stars for sure for great service, location, and food. None of the following notes should take away but could be important for your visit: 1. Internet (3ish mbs) is satisfactory for casual work. If you need to eat some data, still might want to head to Grand Rapids. Tip: Both breweries are running +50mbs. 2. Creamer options are dairy only. If seeking oat/coconut/soy/etc options, be sure to bring your own.”

“Great place! Friendly people. Fast service. Very clean and comfortable. Soft relaxing music. Kid friendly though there are real plants here. Well cared for plants too. Wheelchair accessible. Reasonable prices. A cute little shop too. We had white hot chocolate which was amazing! And I had a cucumber, green olive cream cheese and tomato panini. Excellent!! There's street parking. And gluten free options. They also will go out of their way for nut allergies too!!”

“Hidden breakfast gem you will never leave hungry. Classic home-cooked dishes. Giant pancakes and cinnamon + caramel rolls bigger than your face. My only regret is that I hadn’t found it sooner. Now it’s our go-to breakfast spot. We love Dottie’s and it’s comfy, cozy atmosphere.”
