Incredible food! The chicken & ribs were amazing. Our server Mary, was top notch. Check this place out next time your in two harbors! Hidden gem!
We stopped in to McQuade's quite by accident: we had planned to eat at a different restaurant that evening, but it didn't work out. So we went to McQuade's because it was nearby. And what a happy accident!
McQuade's has the best food we have EVER eaten. We could hardly believe it, so we returned the following night and ordered all different food (and lots of it)--and it was all still the best food we've ever eaten!
I cannot recommend this place enough! If you are in Two Harbors, or plan to be anywhere near it, do yourself a favor and stop into McQuade's.
Just a heads up, though...depending on when you get there, you might have to wait a bit, and sometimes it takes a while to get your food. But man, is it worth the wait!
First time visit. Wasn't sure what to expect.
Nice atmosphere, delicious food, amazing service! Brought the kids and had a wonderful dinner. Great experience. Try the mimosa beer, you won't regret it. Would recommend. ???? Best meal and best server I've had in Two Harbors.
We'll be back.
This is a huge upgrade over the bar that used to be in this spot. The decor is much nicer and brighter which made it feel open and inviting. Overall food was very good, and the prices were reasonable. Also I asked about gluten free options and they seemed to have options including gf buns for there burgers and sandwiches. I'm sure we'll be return in the future.
This has to be the best kept secret in Two Harbors! This quaint restaurant provided impeccable ambiance and music on a Friday night! The drink menu provided a decent selection of wines and libations and a nice variety of tap beers. The chicken wild rice soup is incredible. Not too thick but creamy and delicious. The margherita flat bread has a perfectly crunchy crust and boasted a nice balance of fresh mozzarella, tomato and balsamic. The special was fettuccine Alfredo and we added chicken. Save room for dessert as they have three solid options. The salted caramel cheesecake was exquisite and the perfect end to a fabulous, reasonably priced meal. The young host did an incredible job visiting with guests and the chef came out frequently to see if the guests enjoyed the food. Highly, highly recommend. Worth the ride from Duluth...or Minneapolis!
