Great burgers, pizza and beer. Ingredients were fresh and flavorful on the "stoned love" pizza. Place was hopping at 3:30 on a Saturday. Table next to us was raving about the desserts as well. We will definitely stop here again, when we are in Rochester.
I've visited a LOT of breweries, many of which happen to be brew pubs. This is probably the best of both worlds. It ranks above powerhouses like Against the Grain, Russian River and 21st Amendment. Definitely plan to sample many fine beers and entrees!
Great food and great service. We went on a Tuesday during a slower time, the servers were useful in promoting business with introducing us to their specific offerings. We will be back for the mushroom appetizer which was the best we’ve ever had. The pizza was much more than a thin crust “flatbread” with bits of toppings. Pizza is a lush experience at the Forager. We will bring friends and family here in the future!
The staff was phenomenal. This for me is a huge part of an experience to me and I would have come back for average beer to come chat with the beer tenders. They were lovely and sociable even on a busy Saturday with live music.
Thankfully the beer was divine, as was the egg plant burger & they had great steak fries as well.
I’m not from around the area but if & when I’m back in Rochester I will definitely return.
Three cheers ????
I stop here EVERY time I'm in Rochester. Such a fun vibe; it truly provides whatever space you want throughout the day, with the coffee shop up front, and the full-service restaurant and brewery combo. The food is always great, perfect for a full meal or just some nosh. And the coffee shop donuts are SUPERB. So, so good. I had the lemon poppy seed and a strawberry donut and will never be able to recover from the delight. Great service, super nice staff (Forrest at the coffee shop made my trip all the more meaningful! - what a nice person!) and great music (both as background music and live). The space is also super cognizant of the community it serves, and there's always posts about local events and stuff going on which gives it such a personal feel. If you haven't been, you've got to check it out!
