Hefe Rojo

Food was excellent and plentiful. Service was ok. Not very busy inside.

It was good for lunch time, we had Hefe bowl and chicken fajitas. I ordered chicken tinga in bowl for meat but I was given pork but my husband ate meat. the paloma was good. The rice in the Hefe bowl was mushy. The chicken fajitas we made with thick flour tortillas vs what I thought corn tortilla. Waiter was kind.

Oh my! This Mexican restaurant is perfect. The Enforcer house margarita is so tasty. Order the special Creamy chicken enchiladas for sure. It comes with a side of chips and guacamole. The guacamole is the best I have had and I order guac often. Enchiladas are yummy! We ate on the patio which is cool. See the art work. It’s special. Then go inside to view more incredible murals. Bottom line, go eat at Hefe Rojo.

I stopped on a weekday lunch while visiting the Mayo Clinic. The hostess welcomed me with a smile and showed to a table with a menu. I was quickly greeted by my waiter who mentioned the lunch specials. I chose the tacos; 1-beef and 1-chicken in a soft shell. My lunch came in a timely manner. The presentation was excellent and the tacos were excellent. The seasoning was perfect cooked to my delight.

Service was superb. Atmosphere was excellent! Peter and Mark did a great job taking care of us! I've never seen a business owner work as hard as Mark did it was impressive. Peter was incredibly attentive.
The food was very good and I look forward to another visit where I can try more of the menu and give a better assessment of the overall caliber of the menu. The portions were excellent for an upscale menu. Normally, one expects small portions and high prices. Not at Hefe Rojo! The chocolate cake was amazing and big enough to share between several people. What we experienced last night was enough for 4 ?. Keep up the great work guys.
