Excellent sushi but not quite sure the price to greatness ratio equate. Everything from the Sushi, to Kirian, to Sake was priced higher than you typically see in the in Minneapolis. Not quite sure the food justifies it being superior to some of the other great sushi places here. Still worth checking out and is on that top tier of sushi places.

We are SO excited to have Yumi in Saint Paul! For those that don’t know, their other location has been fantastic and popular for years in Excelsior. The quality came to Saint Paul for sure, and the inside of the restaurant is beautiful as to be expected. The renovation looks great. A big menu with lots of options for anyone, and higher quality fish than you can find from pretty much anywhere in the Twin Cities. It’s hard to find Toro these days! Can’t wait to make this a regular stop on Selby. They could use some consistency on how they cut and prepare rolls and the rock shrimp tempura lacks consistency on how fried it is each time but it always tastes great.

The server was knowledgeable and so friendly! Absolutely amazing sushi and a lovely environment. Our server recommended a delicious sake to go with the 3 rolls we got and it paired well. We were able to keep the empty bottle too. We split the Rainbow roll, the Titanic roll, and Honeymoon roll. Titanic had the most kick, and the Honeymoon roll was a mild compliment to it. The fish on the rainbow roll was delicious as well.

Wow! This place had incredible sushi! Everything was fresh and unbelievable! I have eaten sushi all over the world and this place legitimately stacks up! Service was A+! I definitely will be back! So glad this place just opened 2 days ago! We were lucky to get a spot at the chefs table section right by the sushi chefs! Our server Story was delightful.
