“Nico has two locations; both rate high. The other nice also rates high (4 Stars). I give this one 5 starts because the layout of the venue is easier to manage on the staff. The locations is ADORABLE. The food has been great at both locations; this one have a little less stress for parking. Staff at both locations is very friendly and consistent. “Have had a great couple of experiences here. Stopped in for food last night and they had happy hour drinks and some appetizer specials. We ordered a salad that had chicken and corn in it (Sorry, cannot remember the name of it) and it was really good, one of the best salads I have had in awhile. The cheese bread/pizza left something to be desired - not enough cheese on it, great crust though. The total bill was amazingly low compared to the amount of food and cocktails we had. Our server was really good too.”

I often get the hoagies and order through the app. The staff is friendly and accommodating of any special requests. Overall the restaurant is clean and conveniently located near the University of St. Thomas. I don't like what Davanni's has done to their deep dish pizza. I miss the old deep dish crust recipe, the new recipe is tasteless. It used to take longer to bake and was a slice of delicious goodness.”

“Great atmosphere and great beer! The Oktoberfest beer is excellent. The space is open with its very high ceilings and huge windows. Both look like leftovers from its former warehouse or industrial use. The wood tables and stools make the place grounded and warm. Attentive staff served up tasty beer. I went after work on a Thursday for an impromptu happy hour with 5 other coworkers and there was plenty of room for us. Family style seating at one long table in the middle, just like in Germany! Friendly and attentive staff. Parking can be tricky. Street parking at a meter right outside the door or find free parking on Raymond. Take the Green line and get off at Raymond. Hungry? Get tasty food from the Naughty Greek just next door. They’ll deliver it right to your table.”

“Visited a longtime favorite from my days in Minnesota. Ordered an omelet with Italian sausage, cheese, hash browns, and onion. We also needed a caramel roll for old times’ sake. The omelet is not your traditional rolled or even a simple folded with an appropriate ratio of filling. Instead you get a giant mound of filling encased in a crepe. Outstanding. The caramel roll is also one of the best essays of its genre: ultrasweet, over the top.”
