“Stopped in after walking Como Lake one morning -- I'm an out-of-towner & it was only a 4-minute drive. I got a build-your-own breakfast sandwich, and it was SO GOOD! They were very sweet to me as I stumbled through my order, too. I chose a pumpernickel bagel with egg, sausage, bacon, pepper jack, bacon & chive cream cheese, tomato, red onion, sprouts (amazed to see this fave on the menu), and honey mustard. Sounds weird, but I promise, it was divine! I also ordered 4 bagels (sundried tomato, pumpernickel, plain, & multi-grain) and 8 small sides of various cream cheeses to share with my mom (honey walnut, veggie, cinnamon sugar, apricot almond, garlic herb, jalapeño, bacon chive, & smoked salmon). I haven't tried them yet, but based on this sammy, I'm stoked!”

I love they kept the authentic Brazilian style. The food was delicious. We got the cheese bread, Caprese sandwich and ice coffees. All delicious and authentic. The service is exceptional, with attentive and helpful owners /staff genuinely caring about their patrons experience. “We just found this place and love it! Food is awesome, bubble tea is great, atmosphere is cool. It’s under renovation and is still in its soft opening so it’s not all put together perfectly. The Vietnamese coffee isn’t for me, too sweet. The croissants are top tier, without getting into expensive artisan pastries. The bowls are amazing. Only complaint is my friend got a coffee bubble tea drink/shake and it was way to sweet. She tried to exchange it but the manager said no… seemed petty.”

“We visited Bon Vie Cafe on a Saturday morning to grab some brunch. There were more tables to sit at then what it appeared like from outside. The wait staff was friendly and quick to take our orders. The food was fantastic with both the omelette and french toast being highly recommended. The atmosphere was cozy and it seems like a great place to grab breakfast or brunch in the morning. Prices were not bad as well.”

The Manager, is always in the mix working side by side with the team 4. The Manager has a great eye for talent, the new employees are able to get them up to speed in a heartbeat. Great process To provide context, I manage large businesses with 50 plus employees in multiple locations. So to see how this one location operated, make me rethink my hiring strategies. “Visited a longtime favorite from my days in Minnesota. Ordered an omelet with Italian sausage, cheese, hash browns, and onion. We also needed a caramel roll for old times’ sake. The omelet is not your traditional rolled or even a simple folded with an appropriate ratio of filling. Instead you get a giant mound of filling encased in a crepe. Outstanding. The caramel roll is also one of the best essays of its genre: ultrasweet, over the top.”

“The food is decent, but they're always slow, regardless of how the food is ordered. I've ordered online and come in when the food is supposed to be ready and still had to wait fifteen minutes. It's usually at least twenty minutes, usually more like half an hour, from order time until we get the food, regardless of how busy they are. At least they're consistent. If you want fast, though, this is not it.”
