“We have gotten their pizza quite often since moving to Belle Plaine 4 years ago and have never had any issues with the pizza. Wings used to also be one of our favorites but the past 2-3 times the wings were super rubbery-fatty like textured on the outside...so ended up taking off all the outside skin and just ate the chicken. The past two times I also asked for them to be “well done” with hoping the wings wouldn’t show up poorly. Won’t be ordering wings anymore sadly but will still order pizza.”

“So glad they added this to Shakopee! Just what everyone needed. Good eats and good service. Definitely recommend the fried catfish and fried shrimp with CAJUN fries! Yum! I have yet to try the seafood boil but best believe I’ll be ordering that the next time! There will be plenty more to come. “Great burgers! I've had a couple different burgers here & I've never been disappointed. The tator tots are cooked to the perfect crispness. The special dipping sauce has a slight zing that compliments the rest of the meal nicely. The bar has a good selection of beers (my wife had to drive home). I've heard the nachos are amazing. “Everything in the hotel was very clean and all the interaction with staff was extremely pleasant. The pool and hot tub were both at what I consider a perfect temperature. Nice seating area outside with a decent view of an apple orchard. Only knocks are our bed was a little squeaky and the parking lot had someone's remnants from a brake repair job that looked like it had been there a week or more. Free breakfast was simple but what do you expect from a hotel with a great diner next door. I don't stay at a hotel for the breakfast, I stay for the bed and pool and both of those items were great.”

The older lady that looks to be the manager is always grumpy, looks at you with disgust and gets mad if you order anything that is slightly different. “Mei Dong Garden is a small, family owned Chinese restaurant with delicious food! We order take out here at least monthly. This place has a bad reputation because the buffet isn’t popular so the food may not be the freshest. Order takeout or dine in and you will be amazed. This isn’t LeAnn Chin or Panda Express this is delicious, homemade Chinese food.”

“Went to the supper club side tonight (only open Friday and Saturday nights, the Tap Room is open 7 days a week) and we were not disappointed! The atmosphere was extremely comfortable and cozy - it reminded me of how T. Wright's in Minnetonka used to be. We loved the chairs, they were nice deep cushy leather seats and were on wheels. Linen table clothes and napkins. Incredible portions and everything was cooked perfectly to order. The popovers were amazing. I'm still thinking about the maple honey butter.”

“Can't go to the Scott County Fair without grabbing a taco here. Service is always friendly and tacos are good. Drinks are a little expensive for what you get, but it's a fair, and that's par for the course. What I can't figure out, is why this came up when I was searching for restaurants. It's only open a week (give or take) in the summer!”
