La Carreta Authentic Mexican Food

A great little place that lives up to it's name. Probably the best authentic Mexican outside of the Cities. A unique combination of menu items and an incredibly friendly staff!!

I walked in and was greeted immediately by an extremely open and friendly man. I was impressed already. I ordered three steak tacos. They lightly fry the corn tortillas and the steak was delectable. I also used the green and red sauces on all three tacos. Mmmmmmmm mmmmmm. La Carreta was a wonderful lunch option. Highly recommend!

Real authentic Mexican forward by far. I recommend this place for those who truly love Authentic Mexican food. Not only the food was phenomenal the staff was impeccable. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and kept coming back to see if we needed anything.

This place is great! I came here after getting beer from Lift Bridge, and had tacos (beef tongue and carnitas). They were spectacular! I will definitely be back, possibly to try their mole (tough to find a good mole) or the alambre. Which I got turned onto few years back and love. Absolutely would NOT be embarrassed to show my boy Enrique from work!! Which is a mega plus. Keep up the good work!

This is a great little gem for authentic Mexican!! We've been here 3 times in the last few weeks and have enjoyed everything. My favorite are the shrimp tacos - just a bit of spice and the perfect amount of shrimp. Also, they have fantastic hand cut french fries - the side order is huge for just $4! Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming...this has become one of our new favorites!
