“Genesis in St. Charles is high quality Mexican food, which we have been anxiously awaiting! They also serve burgers and American food, as well as a full breakfast menu. We ordered the Asada (steak) burrito and chicken tacos. The tacos were street taco style which were delicious. The food is not spicy, so you can add your own hot sauce or use their homemade sauce to your liking. When we entered to pick up our takeout, a huge sizzling skillet of fajitas was coming out for a customer and it smelled and looked incredible. Highly recommend Genesis restaurant!”

“Small, very local and very hommie place at the lower level of truck plaza. The restaurant replaced former Amish Oven on the site. The place got a bakery on premises, but pies and muffins not really impressive. Anyway, food is good, like really hommie taste. Portions are generous, prices are really low, personal are friendly. Cooking time and speed of service might be increased, but yet again - worth to stop driving by. Also, ask for coffee to go. Offering for free.”

“Wow, what a gem in SE Minn....! Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and had their pulled pork special with JoJo potatoes and garlic bread....simply amazing with their homemade BBQ sauce. It’s been totally remodeled so the inside is clean and fresh. The ice cream selection is awesome including “exhausted parent”! I saw two garage doors one each on the north and south sides and suspect this will be a hopping place by this summer.”

“Del's was great! Hot fresh coffee, with waitress refills from the coffee maker glass pitcher. I'm not a fan at all of those table top self serve plastic carafes yuck. I had a combo breakfast, hash browns, eggs over med, bacon and pancakes. The bacon was pretty good and the pancakes were really pretty good. Not the plate filler cakes I've been finding in southern WI. These were really good. We may not make back to St Charles for a while but I'd go out of my way to stop again. The restaurant was very clean too.”

“My boyfriend and I went tonight for the very first time, and I have to say we were both pretty impressed! I ordered pulled pork with mac&cheese, and the house potato salad. The pork was fantastic, it was tender, smokey, and juicy. The mac and cheese was definitely cheesy and you can tell they make it in house. And the potato salad was phenomenal! My boyfriend ordered the pulled pork burger and fries and he was very happy with that. We will definitely be stopping back here more often!”

“Very friendly people and exceptional service. This place had delicious extremely filling food for around $10 a plate. I was amazed at how much food they served. It is also homemade, which makes it taste super good. There is a convenient store and a more arts and crafts type store included in this place, too. Great experience!”
