“We came in on Saturday night for the Fleetwood drag dinner, which was a birthday gift. The show was good and the food great. I was not expecting the food to be that good. It was Mac and Cheese buffet. I was impressed to see gluten free and vegan options. The buffet also included salad and bread. No dessert. They offered happy hour before the show. Parking: on street parking, but we had no trouble.”

“I haven't been here in a while but I have to say that the story from when I first went here until now has been remarkable. It used to be that I wasn't a fan of their beers but last night I had (3) exceptional beers and the bar tender was pretty amazing. Gave us the low down on the last three years of progress and transformation as well as some good insight into the history of the Brewery. This place has a good atmosphere, great outdoor seating and views, and quite often has food trucks as an added touch.”

“Came for lunch as we were already in Lowertown. Breakfast is served until 2 but I got the Black and Blue Burger with fries from the lunch menu. The fries were good but weren't hot enough and the burger was delicious but $14 was a lot for it. Lots of tables, booths, and a counter with espresso options and alcoholic drinks. Would love to come back on a night when there is music. Metered parking in front.”

“The burger is great and the match stick fries are very good. We also liked the fried Brussels sprouts (they are very deep fried!). My wife really liked the hazy IPA and I would recommend the Munich Dunkel if you are a malty dark beer fan like me. I also had a coffee golden ale - it was pretty good. Our server was great - the fries were a little under cooked and she brought them back done perfectly. If you’re in Lowertown St Paul looking for a beer and a burger, I recommend Birches!”

“Of my weekend trip to downtown Minneapolis, this became my favorite bar/lounge to stop by! I love the modern swanky design here. With multiple different lounging rooms and full bar area as well, there is a comfortable space for everyone. Our bartender, Mary, provided amazing service going above and beyond to help get the TV in this private yet specious side lounge room to play a channel of our choice and gave great recommendations on drinks and food. It was almost like having a personal living room to hang out in. We moved from one area to another throughout the evening, enjoying the vibe of each and Mary become more of a friend then a bartender. Sharing stories and laughing all evening in this beautifully decorated lounge. I plan to keep returning here regularly and will be telling all of my friends they have to check this place out! Plus happy hour is daily.. Weekends too!!”

“I was always mainly a happy hour and brunch person. Used to love cauliflower bites for happy hour. Have recently ordere takeout. Short rib was great for dinner but they also have starters, sandwiches and salads. For brunch, the eggs and bacon with gouda potatoes and gravy is so, so delicious. It also comes with a biscuit. I picked it up with no contact since their windows fully open. You can also pull up your car curbside.”

The whiskey added a nice sweetness to the burger and the black pepper balanced out that sweetness with the little kick it needed. Fries were hand-cut, seasoned & cooked perfectly. “This particular night they had kids karaoke night. It was my kids first time ever doing karaoke. The people running the show were very very kind. The only downfall I would say is that since it was kids night as long as they have kids that signed up to sing they should finish all those before letting the adults sing rather than constantly over blending the adults in. Once again great job and there were a lot of good singers there that night. I appreciate all the encouragement everyone always gives.”

“The laundromat isn’t the best. You have to wait to start your loads or there won’t be water?!? And they only say this on a post it note on the side of the washers. Unfortunately I didn’t see this and had to rewash all my stuff. They definitely need updating. Good food and prices for the most part. And I say that because the meat loaf sucks. Everything else I’ve ordered is great though. And the waitresses and bartenders are fun and make you feel like family. I do love that part!”

“My daughter brought me here for our mother/daughter night out doing karaoke. I don't drink alcohol so I can't help you out there. Sober however this had become one of my favorite places to be on Saturday night. Karaoke is fun with the audience being appreciative of your efforts. Good singers are truly appreciated. Others are politely clapped for and encouraged to try again. Everyone knows it takes guts to try. No one makes fun of you or heckles you. I love the kindness of strangers here. Another bonus is the delicious food! Tailgate serves some great food! Did I mention that the customer service is top notch? Friendly, fast and great. I love this place a great place to hang out with my daughter.”
