My husband is not the easiest to deal with when hangry but when I called to talk with them they were so pleasant and understanding. Jay, who delivered our food and was a manager was so nice. “Everything! I suggest everything here. You can't go wrong. Our family loves this place. From appetizers to desserts. Anything that you order will be delicious. Visited again yesterday 08-08-2020 after having many wonderful visits and great food experiences (even in takeout). We had 6 adults. One person ordered the fried shrimp and loved it. However, the rest of us ordered the steak and shrimp and we didn't. We were shocked to find that there was gristle all the way through the steaks for all of us. It's not a good thing when you must use your napkin to discreetly spit out many pieces of your steak because of this. The service was slow. This can be looked over but paying the amount that we did will send us to other restaurants. This was our favorite restaurant.”

“The atmosphere here is fun but the food is hit-or-miss. Some of the dishes are great. The chicken fingers (strips) and wings were wonderful. The spinach dip and pizza were straight out of the freezer and not warmed up long enough. I highly recommend the Crown Royal Peach drink. It was delicious.”

Service is slow but they seem to be enjoying hanging out with each other so the long wait time on food or drinks can be filled with watching employees that (i am certain) seem more concerned planning their evening debauchery than actually serving guests in a timely manner. So, food is good and fresh. Servers are friendly (but mainly with each other). Food wait may be long but there is entertainment.”

“Came in during the week when the Restaurant wasn’t open but the bar food menu is fantastic and the drink menu is creative. We had the Steak Tartare (had in Germany many times growing up) and the Caesar’s salad. Others in our party had the Truffle fries and they are home made and tasty. Will be back here for dinner . The restaurant is only open Thursday-Sat evenings but they have live music singing from the Rat Pack era.”

“Monday is senior day and it's half price for my husband and myself it was just under $18 for the lunch buffet which includes you drink and all you can eat with your dessert. Everything was going as usual. Only thing is they didn't have the sushi which my husband was looking forward to I guess the decision to stop it that's to bad it was good. But everything was great. “I honestly cannot get enough. For me, it’s one of those places that’s a home away from home. If I’m not at work, or the house, find me here with a cold beer chatting up one of the lethally beautiful and equally as entertaining bartenders. What solidified my choice on this bar is that it is a mixed bag of people existing in symbiosis, and the hearty and diverse bar grub (the Thai dishes are authentic and leave you wanting more!). I’ve read a lot of the other reviews as well, and I think the name “mermaid DIVE bar” by its very literal nature is already not promising you a rose garden, but somewhere you can get a stiff drink and cozy up at and relax after a stressful day, or even celebrate a win. Unfortunately, some people who are faint of heart tend to express their distaste with their reviews. Don’t let it fool you, this is the locals and tourists gem of Biloxi, and always will be. Cheers!”
