“I was excited to try this new place and it did not disappoint! It is different for sure but that is what I love. I enjoyed the [healthy] filling salad I was able to order. Between my husband and I we tried the salmon, tuna, and shrimp and a lot of toppings. Everything was fresh and it was nice to try new flavors! We had some samples of boba tea and it was really good too! The little boba bubbles(?) were fun. I will be back! (I actually finished eating before thinking to take a picture, so that was a friends bowl... and I want to go back and get it too.)”

“If you live in Oxford and you want a great meal for a reasonable price this is the spot. I’m not talking about a sit down dinner. I mean if you work a 9-5 and don’t want to drop $20 bucks on a crappy meal on the square this is your place. The staff are all super friendly, their breakfast and lunch is excellent. You can’t go wrong with any of their biscuits. They have sandwich’s, soups, and salads or my favorite the plate lunch. For less than $10 you can get a good ole southern meal that will fill you up until supper. Highly recommend this Oxford staple!”

“I had an absolutely amazing experience at Sleepy Cactus. If you're looking for fresh, fast, and flavorful food, look no further and come try what they have to offer! We stopped in for some breakfast tacos. One chorizo, one brisket & hash brown. Both came with egg & cheese, and were served spicy verde and mild red sauces! Talk about some seriously good eats. & Everything was cooked perfectly. (Btw, they had vegan option available for the tacos!!) The ambiance is so calming too. It's bright and open with comfortable seating, both indoors and outdoors! The music selection was awesome too. Good vibes, good food, great price. Definitely excited to come back to try everything else they have to offer!”

“Great ambiance for reading or conversation. My latte was HOT, and took some time to drink, but it was good. There was sufficient indoor seating with tables for two, up to a tall table for eight, as well as two pairs of Adirondack chairs each connected by a side table for outside seating. The iced Chia latte was moderate in flavor -- not too weak, but not overly strong, either. They carry both Almond and Soy milk along with the various types of cow milk. I would definitely return here.”

“Last night went to Oxford for the Christmas lights on the square plus to try out this new restaurant. All the five star reviews are accurate. There are two bars, the one at the back we sat at to watch a game. We sat down knowing that we wanted to try out three appetizers: feta fritters, gyrolls and keftedes (meatballs with cheese). All were excellent. The three appetizers were excellent and filling. The entire staff we spoke with were friendly and informative. Next time, we will try one of the suggested dinners.”

“I’ve been to this restaurant 4 times since they opened. I would have to say this is the best restaurant in town right now. The waiters/waitresses are really nice welcoming and the managers are on their P’s and Q’s at all times. Maddie who was our waitress the first time was AMAZING! she was very nice, welcoming & knowledgeable about the items on the menu ( given this is a new restaurant). The drinks are amazing and you get your money’s worth. They have authentic Salsa. I would also recommend their Spinach dip its not too heavy, very light and pleasing while waiting on your food which takes no time. The entrees are amazing. So far we have tried the fajitas ( chicken and shrimp) they are good seasoned but not salty. Tacos which are yummy as well & their Chimichanga ( chicken and the shrimp) both are amazing it’s my new favorite and go to. If you’re looking for a place with great food, nice atmosphere and to leave with a smile on your face and a stuffed belly this is the place!”

“My wife and I love Frutta Bowls. There’s not a ton to say, it’s a smoothie bowl place. But we both find ourselves craving them, and ordering on the app for a quick pickup makes things incredibly simple. I’ve had zero complaints, but I do think there may be a handful of people that use their underground parking spots without ever stepping foot inside since all the spots will sometimes be full and I’ll be the only one inside. 😂 But yeah, point is: you want a smoothie bowl? No reason to look anywhere but here.”
