“This was our first time here. It is a great addition to the area. We had the charbroiled oysters, Cajun pasta with chicken, sampler platter with bacon ranch potatoes, and fried Twinkie for dessert. The Cajun pasta was super flavorful with a big piece of chicken but visually not that appealing- try it because the flavors are cozy just like grandma would have made it. The sampler platter was a good deal and the bacon ranch potatoes were a tasty side that I haven’t seen anywhere else. We will be coming back to try all the other items that sounded good!”

“I normally don’t dine in fast food restaurants. On the way home from Walnut Grove, I wasn’t too sure what I wanted. I was craving chicken. In the distance, I seen this Popeyes. I came in and I was greeted by a person at the counter. I wasn’t too sure how many nuggets came with the meal. The worker told me the options available without hesitation. I received my food in under 5 minutes. I have to say, it was amazing.”

Their guacamole and salsa knocks the local competition out of the park! The meats are tender and flavored just perfect! We have loved everything we have ordered! Delicious!! “The food is good. The prices are very reasonable. They stay VERY busy here in town. I pretty much always order the Chicken Happy Plate which is basically rice, cheese, and chicken. It comes with a side of tortillas. You can get steak, chicken, shrimp, veggie, whatever. I ask for a side of sour cream too because I love to put a little on the tortilla then the rice mixture. Also, if you like sweet tea, their sweet tea is spot on. Very southern sweet tea. I don't like the Mexican birthday thing because I don't like to be put on the spot, but people come here all the time for it. It's fun to watch. This is a good place to come, relax, and have a good meal.”

“When we first walked in, we had to wait for a while to be seated. There wasnt very many people in there when we got there but still had to wait for a table to be cleaned off. Service was great until a BIG after church crowd come in. The food was great. Only things really negative that I have to say is 1: a few tables were dirty when we came in and they remained dirty at least until after we left. 2: We had to wait 30 minutes just to get a to go box and the tab. Other than that it was great.”
