“This place is fabulous! True it is not on your regular route of Mexican places to find. I encourage you to go outside of the norm, go for a drive in the country and find your way to Plato Feliz, Livingston, Madison, Mississippi. Spectacular salsa that you get with a free chips — amazing. I will say that the cheese dip is a little runny but the Mexican guacamole more than makes up for it. I had the enchiladas Suizas. So good. Hobby had the burrito Feliz — you won’t regret that choice. We followed it up with sopapillas — always a safe choice and delicious with the ice cream. Lots of strawberry margaritas yes yes yes. Suffice it to say that Plato -Feliz is the next hot Mexican restaurant in Madison Mississippi. You heard it here first, run don’t walk. Great place for occasions. Awesome patio.”

An AMAZING working man’s pulled pork blue plate (...called it 10 H and added that data to paper log after pic). And ordered a slightly tweaked cobb salad (1x grilled chicken tender substituted for turkey) for later. Well worth the $30 bucks 💸, including tip and five BIG stars. 😏😀😎 [old review tagged as “a week ago" on M06Jun2022 1:54 pm:] Everyone I ask about Annie M’s Café raves, so been wanting to try it out—especially since it replaced the boring fried Glycine max farm-fed fried catfish place that was there before (No desire for fat 🐡 swimmin’ in earl! 🤢). Was excited to see the black ’n’ blue on the Google maps menu until told no longer but can make some chicken-based salad (...prolly good but with fake blue cheese, i.e., Syscosumfin ranch? Didn’t ask. 🙄🤣). The “Slow roasted pulled pork topped with cole slaw and BBQ sauce...” sandwich with potato salad were generous portions, unfortunately devoid of any spices and BOTH the ripped pig 🐗 AND bun were as cold as the TINY dabble of slaw. Thank goodness I added grilled mushrooms, but they put the BBQ sauce instead of THEM on the side!??! The mushrooms must have been grilled in a previous life—cold, too. 😞 No Coke but at least they have Pepsicocrud whatever root beer. Minus 1 star for all the cold stuff, and hopefully they know a REAL hamburger goes on a grilled bun for next time! Oh, the desserts will fix ANY hypo (bread pudding today)—just remember portion control AND be smart order to go! Lol Maybe I’m asking for too much, but if they had a REAL grilled corned beef Reuben with plenty of caraway seed sauerkraut AND Russian dressing (...NOT 1,000 islands whateva Lol) I’d be in culinary Heaven.”

“Blue Rooster has the best burgers around. I love burgers on an unhealthy level and it's really hard to find a 100% knock-your-socks-off delicious burger. My girlfriend and I always order The Little Bits sliders (with extra jalapeños) and share the meal - she chooses the side for herself to eat and I order the fried pickle spears appetizer as my side. YES! My mouth is watering writing this review. I highly recommend Blue Rooster.”

Using Salad Days lettuce, they literally make the absolute best salads in the metro -- and all their dressings are house made. The pizzas are gourmet and very special -- unusual combos and ingredients. They have special brews on tap. The owners and staff treat their customers like family. I highly recommend it.”

“Bought some steaks here to celebrate a birthday and was not disappointed! Great selection of meat. Great customer service, they took the time to describe the differences in some of the cuts of meats and how to cook them. Also got a wild mushroom steak topper, it was divine. It is rather pricey but you get what you pay for here. I will be back.”

“We go here for a “home cooked” meal. We joke snd call it a home cooked meal because we are isubally there once a week.. With 2 little ones in a restaurant, it’s hard to keep them seated. Our friends at Los Molcajetes not only don’t get annoyed with them being tiny terrorist but also embrace their terrorism! ? when our oldest was little he ALWAYS got their bobble head dog from the check out counter. There was not a time we were in there that the dog didn’t eat with us. One day we went in and they had him his very own bobble head dog to take home. Such a small gesture made a BIG impact on him. We love our Mexican restaurant in flora!”

“The staff is always incredibly friendly at Penn’s in Flora! The food is always as delicious, as expected. Does this place have healthy food? Absolutely not - everything is deep fried. However, if you view the menu before ordering, you know that your belly will be oh-so-happy, regardless of the results of your clogged arteries. I love the popcorn shrimp with a side salad - their ranch is homemade!”
