I really can't say enough to do this restaurant justice, but the food was absolutely amazing and authentic! Not only that, it was priced well below what it was worth! The ambiance was classy and you could be casual at the same time. I would give this place 5 stars all day long! You must try it! Bravo!!!

The dessert list was lacking the dessert pizza was more like poop pizza when I tried to eat a slice the banana's and strawberry slices would slide off the nutella. The house dressing should come with a warning label of very spicy. It was so strong it caused my dinner companion to start coughing and it caused her throat to be agitated the rest of the evening.

I had the penne with vodka sauce and it was delicious. The first glass of wine I ordered, a Chardonnay, was poured very lightly. I know a standard pour is 5 ounces, and it could have been, but it looked smaller than at other places. The manager came over and gifted me with a top off after I complained. Both my service and interaction with the manager were pleasant. I would definitely go back.

Italian is my favorite cuisine—so much so that I visited the country a couple of months ago to eat the food. I didn’t expect the food here to taste exactly like what I had over the summer, but I did find some fundamental things that fell short.
Let’s start with the service…If you’re fortunate to get our server (unfortunately her name escapes me, but she has red hair), you’re in for a treat. She’s incredible—expeditious, timed our appetizer and entree deliveries perfectly, and overall very friendly. She gets a 5/5, and the tip reflected that.
Now, let’s get to the food… Salty, salty, and salty. Being that this is a new restaurant, they only had two dressing options: Italian and Caesar. We shared a salad and had one of each dressing. Both were exceptionally tart—like really heavy on the lemon or something. Not good. We packed up the salad and brought it home so that we can use store bought dressing instead.
The Italian nachos are great in theory, but in execution, the cheese is quite salty. The tomatoes sort of dilute the impact of the salty cheese, but in order to do that, there needs to be a lot more tomatoes incorporated into the dish.
The lasagna was good. Great cheese-to-sauce ratio, and tasted good (not necessarily great). The chicken Parmesan was good (again, not great); however, the spaghetti needed more flavor. I piled extra Parmesan on top to give it a bit more kick. It was exceptionally bland.
I found the prices to be fair for the portion sizes. Overall, I think in about six months and with more constructive criticism, this place could be one of the best Italian restaurants in the area, or it can fall flat and fade away like the previous restaurant whose space it occupies.
The only other thing I want to mention is the music… Why not play some good Italian music? I think some 90s rock was playing, but whatever it was, it didn’t quite match the ambiance and feel of the restaurant. Again, I’ll circle back in about six months.
    Overall, it’s OK.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff - even Robert St. John himself stopped by to say hello and ensure the quality. Xavier and this team served us well in the sexy and romantic bar area which is plenty big with lots of seating options from high-tops to booths. The restaurant itself is large with several different rooms. Our food was excellent - authentic Italian. We got the Stracciacatta and the Six-P Pasta. Highly recommend. Our cocktails were refreshing and tasteful. We went on the second night of opening and still had great service. Would recommend for your next Italian outing.
